I am just curious what anyone knows about the following courses.
Johnson Hills Park course in Anderson. Info says it may open in September. Any info on this park and how many holes this course may have?
Rocky Fork State Park. There is a posted map with pre construction photos on it. Has this course been built and is it open. Info says it was supposed to be built around June.
Also any other news on unlisted parks or upcoming courses that maybe or are being built?

Alman and I played the 10 holes yesterday at Rocky Fork. Very nice, tight, wooded holes. Some ride along the lake and a one goes over the lake. So far the course is worth the drive.

It would be nice to have an updated page for Rocky Fork if it is now a 'real' and active course. Maybe someone could get tee/basket photos and info from course. Also pars for each hole and such would be nice. Plus place it on the map with directions as well.

I sent an email to the Anderson park boards and here is the answer: Johnson Hills Park will be opening in September. We do hope to install a Frisbee gold course at Johnson Hills Park but there hasn't been a date announced as to when. Keep watching our website www.andersonparks.com, for additional information concerning Johnson Hills Park. Thanks for your interest. Sheila Fehn, Office Manager Anderson Park District

Rocky Fork...their jumping the gun on playing this course. It was no where near ready last week and people should back off so workers can do their thing without player interference. With equipment laying around uninstalled, it just asking for trouble.
