Anyone own one of these? Are they good or not? I love my Aerobie Arrow but want something that will fly farther. I am considering an Aerobie Sharpshooter #1.

Try not to get too stuck on Aerobie discs - try some other brands. Has indeed anyone out there ever thrown a Sharpshooter?

Any reasons for the Aerobie dislike, if I may call it that? My game is much better with my Arrow and it is easy for me to throw and keep consistent.

It's kinda like learning to use a Mac computer... it's so specialized, it's a whole different world, and one that will not help you with 99.999999947% of other equipment.

Well I am a LONG time thrower of the large aerobie pro ring. As a kid 20 years ago we could throw that thing a LONG way. So maybe I am just a kid of the aerobie and am used to how to throw them. The arrow throws just as good as my big pro ring did so I expect the best from a sharpshooter.

Getting used to a disc is very important, no doubt. Most of us probably carry way too many discs and cannot know how they are going to fly in all conditions. The Sharpshooter may be a good disc, but is not well known or used by many competitive golfers. If it is a driver, compare it to a Wraith, Surge, and an Inferno and let us know your results. Has anyone else out there had some experience with the Sharpshooter???

Well I made it down to DiscNDat to get my sharpshooter, now I just need to get out and try it out. Got my son an Arrow like the one I have. I personally like the Aerobie line. Like I said, long time player of the pro ring and must just have an itch for this line.

I avoid the stuff myself. I was out at Paw Paw last year and this dude with and Aerobie sponsorship really weirded me out. I think Tupperware might also have sponsored him. He was a strange, rubber clad dude. Can't remember if he was any good.

Well I got out finally with my new Sharpshooter. I say it does fairly well. I need some practice with it but it can be used for my early shots.
