put some text on first line, then do the <img src="whatever"> on next line so the main page of the forums doesn't take up so much space.

That one would be a pretty tight sticker Mike. You have some of the same thoughts that I have been having. The ones that I have shown on here would be geared more towards the virtual world or possibly a shirt. May I ask what you do for a living? Just wondering if it was related to graphics at all. I think that we both should just go ahead and get a free lifetime membership and between us come up with some marketable merchandise. The club needs more than just one logo. Why does It have to look the same all the time?
"We are the Renegades of Disc"
May I throw out at slogan for the GCFDA? "We do IT in the woods!"

The latest from Mike is a great looking logo. Nothing fancy, but it shows the sport, has the name and is easy to read.

Lingo, I'm a CS student so I guess I have experience with computers but graphics are not my specialty. I just like fiddling with them once in awhile. Before I started messing with this I wouldn't have even considered myself artistic.

I was fiddling around myself on a logo with the skyline. Thats not really the cincy skyline is it? I couldn't come up with one big enough for my liking. My new thought is that the club may not need a new logo, but the old one updated. I also think that in the mean time, Mikes logo above should be worked into a white on clear sticker for the club. Like T Vincent said, it's looks good and gets the point across. Along the same lines I think that the coat of arms would be a pretty bad ass members only tee. With the design on the front and a list of all the courses on the back.......
Those are just my thoughts though. The logo that we have now is "known". So for things such as letterheads, banners, etc. it works fine. However, I think that in sticker, teeshirt, stamp design, virtual worlds we could be a little more visually stunning.
The question is.......... Would you pay money for either one of these items? Would you enjoy one of them as part of the membership? If you were at an out of town tourny would you pay $1 for the sticker and maybe $15 for that shirt?
I know that I probably would. Cheap cool gear to support the sport! And at the same time be some good "fund raising" for the club.
