Hey guys...when a private message is sent to a user, the forums send the user an automatic email stating that a private message has been sent to him/her. When you click on the link in the email...the link doesn't give you a page that reads your cookies and autologs you in...thus you need to take an extra step of loggin in to view your inbox. However..if you just visit the site...the forums will read your cookies and log you in automatically.

I hope this will be taken care of in the next version of the forum module. We don't really want to get in the practice of changing code in the forums as it would need to be applied to each new version of the forums that comes out. That would be a lot of work.
