I was in northern Indiana for a wedding this weekend and had the pleasure of playing the 22 hole course at Rogers Lakewood Park. Luckily I met some locals there who were able to show me around the course for a round. I would have had some trouble navigating it by myself.
It is great course. Reminds me a lot of Moraine State Park near Pittsburgh, only not quite as long. The park is enormous and very well-maintained, all 22 holes have multiple pin placements and most have concrete tees. The rough is very thick, it seems carved out much as Moraine is.
If you're ever on your way to Chicago or just happen to be up that way, check it out for sure.
