Many of the weekly events are about to expire.  Many are set to expire on 10/1/08, if they are still going to continue after 10/1 please update the event to continue on into the future or contact a web admin or the event will disappear from the front page.  Specifically Turtlecreek, Monroe and the Ladies League are about to expire or have already done so.  To increase the date range check under the recurring settings of your respective event or check the tutorial again under events -> manage events -> events tutorial.
