Little Miami High School PE teacher Mike Frith is going to have 60 high school kids out at Gulley next Friday, 6/19, to learn about disc golf.  The kids are there as part of a summer program to earn PE credit.  We did it twice last year, and it was a fun time.  This year I'm asking again for volunteers to come and help instruct.

Here's the way it works:

After a short primer on disc golf and some throwing practice, we divide them up into groups and play 1 round of disc golf.  Each instructor will play along with a group or float amongst them if we have more groups than instructors.  Later we'll probably do a ring of fire, and give away some prizes.

So, if you are interested in coming to help out, it's Friday, 6/19 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Gulley.  Just post here if you can make it.

It was just Dave and I running the show, but it went pretty good. 53 kids were playing disc golf for the first time. There's going to be another session on July 8th if anyone is interested in helping out. Same deal same time.

Wednesday, July 8th at Gulley at 8:30 AM. 46 kids will be there for the same thing. Anyone wants to come help, let me know.
