Can someone explain to me the difference between the tiers?

Tiers basically have to do with the level of payout. C tiers have less added cash to the payout than B tiers. A tiers have even more added cash and therefore attract a higher level of competition. NT are National Tour events and have and even higher level of added cash and generally attract the countries best open players.
