I was thinking <69 pro, 69-75 Advanced, >75 Novice...those don't exactly work out ....because we are missing a much needed Intermediate division. So..you can probably add atleast 3 strokes to the ADV and Novice scores.

I shot a 66 last year at the BGO during the 2nd round in AM2 but most of the scores were 72 or higher. I would say 75-79 for AM2 and > 79 for Novice

I would say that less than 69 for pro, 69-80 for Advanced and Novice would be greater than 80 sounds about right.

I sent in a notice to the Course Directory on the PDGA.com to update the directory to include both names of Lincoln Ridge/Banklick Woods. Checked it today and it's been updated.

I went out this evening in the 45 mph winds. While it was quite interesting to chuck a disc in this wind it was also interesting to see the tree that feel from next to the no. 7 tee and landed less than a foot from the no. 4 basket. Also, the fairway for no. 8 has a couple of trees laying across the fairway.

Any idea what the protocol, or local law, is for chopping up those downed trees? Nice backstop on no. 4 and they don't come into play on no. 8 much, but...?

I was out there Saturday and saw the downed trees. I called Steve Trauger (parks director) and left a message. He forwards the message on to right folks. They usually clear the downed trees in one to two weeks.

Hi all.i came down from michigan to play banklick on monday.had the craziest thing happen.my group finished playing 15,heading to 16 we noticed some dude on the other side of creek stumbling around.we called out to him.he said he was fine.we actually were talking with someone that just slit his wrist intentionally.we ran and got help.it took 1 hour to get him loaded to an ambulance.anyone know who this might be?with no groups behind us,he would have been successful.

That is crazy...I assume it wasn't a disc golfer on that side of the creek. It was great that you guys where there and called the paramedics. You saved a life and hopefully this individual takes this gift of life and can deal with the emotional turmoil and find happiness. Thanks Mike for being there.

I was there yesterday morning. I believe bogey was in the group in front of me. Bogey was on 4 and his group shouted back to me asking where 5 was. I pointed them across the parking lot. Was that you bogey? As I was teeing off on 5 a lady drove up and asked if I saw a white (vehicle of some type). I said no. She then asked if I saw anyone walking around. I told her there were 3 guys ahead of me playing and one guy w/ 2 dogs well ahead of all of us. She took off. I only played 11 holes (played through bogey and his group on 10). As I was heading up to my car I noticed the car the lady was in parked in the lot. A cop pulled in behind me, backed out and headed over towards the no. 2 tee...I think he was chatting w/ the lady I spoke to previously. Glad Bogey and his group carried on...

Valet, I was with bogey there also. I actually went across the creek to check on the guy. While Mike(bogey) ran for help. Our other friend Ed stayed on the course side of the creek to flag down the help when it came. The guy had visible blood all over and the box cutter was right next to him. I kicked away immiedatly. So now unfortunatly we have a nickname for this course. I sure you all can guess it.
The suicide course. But our buddy Ed called down there to find out the status on the guy. He is alive but going to be put in a mental facility. We all hope he can turn it around.
Peace

Hey Iggy. You guys did a very good thing during a very tough situation. I just keep thinking that if this guy didn't care about himself, he probably didn't care about you (or anyone else). Kind of scary getting close, but glad things turned out alright. And glad to hear that you got some info to put your mind at ease. I searched around to see if I could find anything to share w/ you, but haven't been able to.
Happy new year to you guys and things like that don't happen often at the suicide course. You have a better chance of taking an errant disc to the head from me. (but aren't all my discs errant?)

Not sure whether something like this is "post worthy", but I watched topherb knock down an ace on no. 4 at Bank today. He can provide the details, all I know is that when it was out there I said "that looks pretty good..." and then chains.
