I was playing Lincoln Ridge the other day with a couple of other guys, and we started arguing about the toughest holes on local courses. We finally agreed on #6 at Idlewild. Its lond and windy, and serves as a punch to the gut after #5's slap to the head. Just wondering what some others thought.

Yes hole six at Idle is the easy answer, hole 5? at airy the 700 foot dog leg right road left would be up there.

The holes at banklick arent as hard but if you overshoot 14 have to go into the creek the in the creek on 15and 16the up the stairs to 17 by then you are breathing hard. Not as challenging throws as idlewild but a few mistakes and the cardio comes into play.

If you have a decent sidearm, hole #6 isn't nearly as tough. Hole 18 at Idlewild is the hardest hole in my opinion. It doesn't have a safe "landing zone" for your drive. And the trees guarding the exit are great for kicking you into thick rough and eating another stroke or two.

I have to agree with you. Hole eighteen at idlewild is awfull. I have had several "good" drives find themselves behind trees for the second throw.

How did i forget 18 at Idle yeah thats up there but I remeber getting a four on it once so it's not as hard as six still looking for a four on it.

Based on my score from the 2nd round on Sunday - I'd have to say hole 12 at Idlewild.

I have got an 8 on 5,6, and 18 in the same round at a certain ice bowl event lol!!

Hole #6 at Idlewild kills me every time no matter how well I'm throwing. I average a 7 on #6 while on #18 I average a 6. The long on # 14 at Idlewild also kills me.
