So, I posted before about trying to find a basket for my bf for Christmas. He wants to learn how to putt better and I wanted to get some reviews on the products here. Dan has been nice enough to help me so I was going to buy one of his. The Mach lite just seems like it wouldn't be as sturdy with it's plastic catcher, but I honestly have no idea about it. It definatly looks far more portable. Just wanted to get some advice. Thanks so much in advance :D

Incidentally, Dan recomended the Mach lite. Anyone have a reason why they reccomend the m-14?
Thanks a ton :D

Thats the one I want and I will ad another row of chains. The mach lite is better for mobility but i like the realness of the m-14.

if he is trying to learn to putt better, the skill shot may be appropriate. It is smaller than a regulation size basket, so it is harder to make putts on (thus improving your putting, in theory). It is also very light and portable. On the down side, it is smaller than regulation size, so it isn't like putting on the real thing, also it can be a bit fragile if not taken good care of.
