We will be at Mt.Airy this Saturday  April 9th from 9am till 12pm to work on getting the greens ready for the alternate basket placements installations.
Bring gloves and any hand tools for removing stumps and Honey suckle.  Dress for the weather.

We will also be at Idlewild on Sunday April 10th from 9am till 12pm to get the course ready for the upcoming tournaments.
Bring any tools you feel necessasary for course clean up, rakes, shovels, etc.

Both events have doubles play afterwards so please consider coming out early to help and stick around for some dubs action.
If possible please let me know if you plan on attending any of these workdays to help me organize our plans.
Any questions or concerns you can reach me at 513-255-7275.

Thanks Larry, Lebanon will be at Harmon Park, Turtle Creek actually splits the course which will be 9 holes with multiple tees and pins. Natural tees to start and DGA Mach V's with Number plates, which look as if it could be up and ready for play with in the next month or more.

Loading up and heading out to Goshen this morning.
See ya's there.

Working out at the Goshen course tomorrow evening and Thursday evening at 6:30P.M., went on a cutting spree last Sunday so will be dragging and piling tree limbs and honeysuckle, will be out Saturday and Sunday at 9A.M., if you're not playing KY State Championships get a pair of gloves and come on out...one day of volunteer work goes a looooong way to getting the course in. If you are interested give Adam or myself a call: 513-602-0637. To stay in budget, we are looking to cut the deforester action down to 24 hours from 60 hours so we are pre clearing and piling, if you have a saw it's helpfull but just an extra pair of hands and feet keep the guys with saws cutting and make things go that much quicker. At the current pace we'll have 6 fairways to clear at the start of May. An extra two to four guys out once a weekend and we'll be pouring tees in May.

April 30th is the next workday at Goshen, we'll be starting at 9A.M. and ending at 5P.M., so if you're planning on helping out you can show up anytime between those times. All you need is a pair of gloves, you are more than welcome to bring additional equipment if you are so inclined. Thanks and hope to see you out there. Feel free to call me if you have any questions: 513-602-0637

Change of Location for the May 7th Great American Clean Up.
I have been asked to send our volunteers to Rapid Run park since they are over booked at Burnet.
Please let everyone know the change of location.

A strong turnout on Saturday would really strengthen our relationship with Cincinnati Parks. Given recent budget cuts, the Parks workforce is not what it once was and they value labor hours these days more than money itself. If you can only make one volunteer event this year, this would be the one to make.

Big thanks for all my volunteers that helped this weekend.   We all recieved Reds ticket vouchers for volunteering.
All those that have helped out at any Volunteer Work Days in Cincy Parks I need your information so I can get you a Reds Ticket voucher also.

Tuesday May 17th at 7am we will be installing the new sleeves for the alternate basket locations at Mt.Airy and I need 3-5 people to help with this project and so far Its just myself and only 2 Park employees.  Please contact me if you can help us out, even if its only for a few hours.  Adam = 513-255-7275, Thanks

All this week Andrew Miller will be out at Goshen working on clearing fairways and he can use all the support and help he can get. I will be out there a few times also.

If anyone isn't planning on playing the CCS today we have Boy Scout Dustin building new bridges at Mt.Airy on old hole 7 down in the woods. He will be out there from 1pm till 6pm. and could really use some help. He had signs out there yesterday directing others to the project.

Also, we had another Scout, David K. working on building and installing our new benches, first 4 are in and the rest will be by the end of the month.

Reminder: Tuesday May 17th, 7am till we get done. We will be drilling the holes and installing the alternate basket sleeves. I could use all the help I can get.
