I want to thank Fred from the Nati for sending $100.00 to me this week for a tee pad for the course. I met Fred for the first time last week at the Ky. State Championship at Idlewild. Fred cares about disc golf in the area and I appreciate his efforts.
On another note, the Cincy golf club has donated 5 pads. With Freds donation and the $120.00 that was made from the tourney last November we now have enough pads to complete the course as it's layed out presently. We now need crushed rock so I am going to run a tourney next Saturday (May 7th). It will be BYOP with 3 divisions, Open / $50.00 per team, Advanced / $40.00 per team and Recreational / $30.00 per team. $15.00 per team will go toward the course. The Open division will get cash and the Advanced and Recreational divisions will get plastic. Sign up will be from 8:00 - 9:00 and a players meeting at 9:10. Tee off at 9:30.
Here will be the format for the tourney:
Tough shot (Worst shot until a putt is made) - Holes 1-6
Best shot (Normal doubles) - Holes 7-13
Alternate shot (Players take turns throwing) - Holes 14-19
Both rounds will be this way.

Troy, I sent you a pm and left a message on your cell about possibly having this event on Sunday if possible because our most important volunteer day is Saturday may 7th at Burnet woods. I did have it posted before hand and it will hurt my attendance as well as yours. Let me know what we can do bud, thanks

I will move it to Sunday (May 22nd) just for you Adam. I didn't get your pm or call but it's all good. I am going to move the sign in time to 10:30 - 11:30 with the players meeting at 11:40 and tee off at 12:00 (Noon). This will help the people who want to go to church.
I was going to do the 8th but I forgot it's Mothers Day so I'll change it to Sunday May 22nd.

I just got my electric back up after Mondays storm. We had a total of 5 teams with 3 pro and 2 advanced. With the low turnout I decided to not charge the $15.00 per team toward the course. This enabled me to pay $100.00 for 1st place and $50.00 for 2nd for the pros. Jeff Vandemark and Dave Cox came in 1st with rounds of 13 and 13 for 26 under. The Fair brothers came in a close 2nd with scores of 13 and 12 for 25 under. In the advanced division Rusty Foster and Tony Kursim shot rounds of 7 and 10 to win 1st. We did make $ for the course when Brad Anderson donated $50.00 which was awsome. I had also put up $100.00 toward a ace fund which was half of what we had accumulated on Thursday nights (A suggestion by Jeff on Saturday night on this forum). Jeremy Ison hit an ace on hole #2 to win the money. I am working with Dan to see about a singles tourney in June to make the money for the tees.
