I agree, great tourney and hopefully Dion kills it the rest of the year! Getting a 2 on one and missing a 3 on 15 by a hair was pretty sick. Great guy and a great champ.

Big thanks to Dan for running another great bluegrass open. Big thanks to Tony Vincent and all the spotters at idlewild on Sunday. They did a great job, especially on hole 15. tony ran around like a madman second round on Sunday. He was definitely one of the unsung heroes during the tournament especially in that heat.

I was typing almost the same things Phil posted above.....
Dan, thanks again for hosting another big event for us! All the help you had this year made things run very smooth.....lot's of cold water around the course and the spotters were superb on 15. Thanks for spending the day getting fried and running around chasing our bad shots! I say we play two rounds of 24 next year on Sunday....(just a bit of sarcasm on that last line!) :-)

Senor Perica(Im in Mexico) any chance you can get the scores for the final 18 from the BGO and do your thing and compare to the Ky states scores? According to Chuck Kennedy Idlewild could have the highest SSA for a course in the country. It would be a feather in OUR cap. Gracias amigo.

Hey Fred, if someone can scan the open and masters scorecards and email them to me I can put that together no problem.

I'll see if I can get to it this next week - can't promise anything, but I'll try.

Thanks, Dan. I know you worked your ass off at the tournament so don't kill yourself. The pain of data entry that I've *****ed about is dwarfed by what it took to successfully put on the BGO.
