We have been offered to come back and play on October 6th and/or Thanksgiving Day. I will not be able to make either dates. Anyone interested in going on these days just post below and I will let them know how many may be coming out.
If anyone wants to run some sort of organized event like we did before feel free to take the reins and run with it.
Please, just a reminder, don't call the cabin creek phone numbers. Thanks

How many would be interested in coming out the day after thanksgiving? Yes I know that's Black Friday and Dayton has its annual doubles.
Just want to see a show of hands of those that would come out and play some Dubs at Cabin Creek.

Thanks to midge at cabin creek. And the Dayton club. Black Friday doubles will be held on day after thanksgiving at cabin creek. More details to follow on Dayton web site.

Cabin Creek is open during the Holidays starting tomorrow, just call Midge first at 726-1048. $5 fee to play per day.
Also like to extend the Erkenbreckers wishing the GCFDA and its members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Plan on being here at noon today. Not trying to compete with the Mt Airy doubles at noon, but if one or two people close to here wants to join us we can make it a four or five some.

I just talked to Midge 2 days ago, and she wasn't sure if she was or not, lol. I'm glad to hear that she is going to open it for July 4th.

I still would assume a call first is in order. But if you forget I'm sure just showing up and pay the fee would suffice.

This week, Monday Doubles at Monroe is being moved to Cabin Creek on Monday, July 4th at 6:00 p.m. I know for sure we cannot run it at Monroe, as the park will be packed for he holiday events. Either myself, or Ken will be present to run it. There may be an additional course fee of up to $ 5.00 to play this private course, but I assure you, whom ever hasn't played Cabin Creek, (played in the 1998 Worlds) it's worth it.
