Hi all, just making a half-hearted attempt to identify the model/mold of the disc I won in the big bag o' stuff at the Ring of Fire on Sunday at the BGO (that was fun). It's a slightly chewed innova (no letters, just a weight on the back) approach disc (likely a mid back in its day) at least 17 years old, but likely older (because it's got a GCFDA logo listing nine courses and their number of baskets - Oxford listed at 9, Pioneer Pk still in existence, and no mention of Airy, Idlewild, etc.)
I've got a picture, but don't know how to link it here.
There is some faded ink on the back which MIGHT be "Da(xx)S(?)xxFT(?), and the phone number is illegible. It was 'donated' to the Ring of Fire goodie bag. It's certainly a 'retired' disc, but I wondered if any of the veterans had ideas on this oldie's history. Not terribly important, but curious. And, of course, if the original owner has been looking for this for the past few decades, I'd return it gladly!

sisy that GCFDA stamp is from 1988 unless it has 1987 included in the stamp. The stamp you described was used for those two years, for 1988 club discs we didn't make a new stamp so we asked Innova to just remove the year and reuse the same stamp.

As far as the disc you have, I need more details or a picture before knowing what it is.

Jay Dub is correct Jeff.  I donated that one and put a note on it that I wanted someone local to get it - glad it was you. I didn't check to see about the date, but it is one of my favorite stamps from the club along with the chains/basket lettering one (another story). The name is David Swift, a friend of mine and local disc golfer from back in the 90's. I got it some how or another and just thought it would be a nice one for someone to get for the history of it. I'd be somewhat careful of it as the plastic is old and wouldn't do too much bending to it. It is an Aviar Putter.

You're welcome, Jeff.

Now I remember why the club stamp was forgotten about back then, we were preparing to host the '88 Worlds so that stamp became a low priority.
