Holes 1-3 are heavily wooded 1 and 2 are shorter 300 ft. 3 is longer hole with a slightly wider fairway.
4-6 are in open fielded areas with the baskets protected by light woods or on the edge of woods.
7-9 are longer holes 350 with some clusters of trees to navigate around in an open grassy area. There is a paved bikepath/running path that winds through the course and at some point you need to walk on that to get to the next holes. The layout unfortunately does not loop back so 9 ends near 1 or the parking lot.
Chainstar baskets with Hole numbers on the top.
Tee signs and course map to be added. Tees are concrete markers in the grass or dirt.
Submitted it to DGCourseReview last night.
It is located by the Armory here in Lebanon which is off the south end of Mound Street. Here is the armory address there is a parking lot and baseball fields there as well. Just behind the fields you can see a few of the baskets and some of the mounds of mulch they have yet to spread.

So what is the name of this course/park? Is this yet another new course this year?

lol, thanks for the update Dave. This is the Harmon Park course myself and others have been working on with the local boy scouts. We had extremely short notice to help come up with a better design and since it has been mainly the boy scouts project we have only been helping with design and planning. Will be a 9 hole course with multiple pin locations and a few alternate tees. Natural tees to start until funds can be raised for permanent ones. I haven't heard back yet about when the course will be open for play but I figure it should be soon. I am planning on stopping by this weekend to get a look at the progress after working on Goshen.

Played this course yesterday and it is a great nine holer. The designer did a really nice job with the available land, and they had the foresight to set the holes up in a way that two or three tee locations can be utilized on every hole. All of the holes have well-defined lines, and a nice variety of shot types are required. Really well done and worth the trip. One question - we played to baskets 4 and 5 from the same tee markers as we couldn't find a second set (and it made sense based on the location). Is this the intent?

Hole 5's tee is closer to the gap, hard to see the stone markers till sign posts are in. Tee placements are fairly good but need to move/adjust a few and there is still clearing and drainage issues to take care of.

Phase 1 is nearing completion and the first set of Tees and Baskets are in.
Posts for the first set should be in9installed this past weekend) so finding the Tees should be easier now.
Phase 2 consists of 2nd set of Tees and basket anchors which should start soon.
Baskets are DGA Mach V's with number plate conversion kit.
Tee pads will probably be Fly 18 (recycled rubber).
Most, if not all holes will have 2 tees so that a full 18 hole round could be played.

Lebanon City Parks are tentatively setting a Grand Opening date for July 9th at 11:00 am. We still are working on clearing areas for the alternate Tee and Basket locations and signs are in the works. If anyone in Lebanon or nearby areas would like to help or sponsor a hole or be involved with future projects please contact me first. Thanks to all those that have helped out so far.

I played that course yesterday and lost my yellow Surge SS on hole 4. The course was hard to figure out at first, so is there any word on when a map will be available?

Added this to course page. If anyone has a map, pictures, better description, or anything else to add let me know.
I wasn't sure about the entrance. This first post here says to come to it from the armory but that isn't the natural entrance to the park. So I put the normal entrance to the park. Someone let me know if that is wrong.

Entrance will be Mound street or Taylor. Mound is actually connected as apposed to how Google thinks it is.

Bump for the Grand Opening of the Harmon Park DGC course in Lebanon. Saturday July 9th at 11 am. I would like to hear from a few Pro's that would be willing to participate in lessons that day. How many Club members would be willing to help out?

Thanks to all those that came out and either helped or to show support and enjoy a few rounds on the new course. There must of been 40 to 50 people at the start of the ceremonies. Tony V hit an Ace on hole 4 before we got started, his first time playing the hole. There is still a bit of course work to accomplish before the long tees and pin placements are ready. Park department will be taking care of the majority of this work and should be completed by the fall.

So we went and played 9 at Countryside YMCA and then went to this course for the first time. Nice course. Fun path and not too hard. Like the firsts 3 holes in the woods and then the rest are out in the park and nice lengths. Yeah, Hole 9 is at the far end of the course, but a nice walk back to the car. Could use some more official parking spaces.
