I have started the ball rolling on the OHDGHOF and we will need some funds for plaques etc. to get started and was wondering if the club could donate to the cause. Or put it on the agenda for the next club meeting. Thanks

The Ohio Disc Golf Hall of Fame Classic will be on Sept 15 at Mt Airy Forest. Congrats to the inductees for 2012. Bill and Midge Erkenbrecher, Dan Busick, Steve Wisecup and Brent Hambrick. We will have a tournament on that day with a banquet to follow. More info later.

The Ohio Disc Golf Hall of Fame is soliciting for donations to the Hall of Fame to help purchase plaques/discs for the 2012 inductees. The 2012 class includes Brent Hambrick, Dan Busick, Bill and Midge Erkenbrecher and Steve Wisecup.
Make donations to Camilla Erkenbrecher and mail to same at: 4117 Eaton Road, Hamilton Ohio, 45013.

The Ohio Disc Golf Hall of Fame Classic will only be one round(20 holes) at Mt Airy with a 6 hole Safari skins round for the top 4 scores. A buffet banquet will follow to induct the Hall of Fame class of 2012. There will be an additional $10.00 charge(optional) in the entry fee if you want to attend/eat at the banquet. It will be catered. You will be able to start signing up next week.

If you are on the fence about this event you should sign up just for the historic value, the six hole safari skins for top 4 scores(skins value depends on turn out), course is playing easier(original positions), nice plaques for the winners, great banquet from Walts planned, cold beverages.
By playing this event you are supporting a new sanctioned event in Cincinnati and helping to celebrate the creation of the Ohio State Disc Golf Hall of Fame.
Thanks to Bill and Midge Erkenbrecher and all that played the Cabin Creek event on Labor Day which helped raise money for the hall of fame and this event.

I would appreciate it if Nati team members participated in this event. This is a very special event even though there is only one round of disc golf. It's not about the golf it's about recognizing the people that worked hard to make what we have today possible. Thanks
