We've had a lot of people asking for a PDGA tournament at Williamsburg - we've got a C-Tier event scheduled for Sunday Sept 30, 2012. Yes, the Bengals play that day - at Jacksonville at 4:00 pm. We'll be done early enough that you'll be able to see the best part, the second half, or just tivo it, skip the commercials and you'll be caught up for the second half anyway. Hope to see you there.

Hey brutal, I'm in! Going to be tiring, but: Gotta support the growth of disc golf out here in Clermont County you know. Maybe they'll let us use a golf cart for the lower holes and a pack mule and a sherpa for the hill? --Jeff A.

I talked to Dan on Friday and told him that I will donate 15 pre owned dics (They will be in good to excellent condition). This will only be those who PRE REGISTER (Including pros). We will have 5 drawings with 3 discs going to each winner. We will do this at the players meeting in the morning. I would like some feedback into what people would like including putters, midranges, drivers and Blizzards.

Not pre-registered? Well, here's a few good reasons to do so. For all pre-registered players, you will be entered into a drawing for the following: 1 Discraft Tournament Bag, a 3 Disc Bundle from Troy (5 available) , 1 Star Stamped Champion Dominator, 1 KC Glow Roc w/2012 BGO stamp.

I might be blind or something but do you have the signup/meeting/start time established?
edit: Nevermind I am blind 9:00am sign-up 9:30 start time. No wonder I keep missing the basket!

We have a lot of freebies being raffled off to all pre-registered players: 1 Discraft Tournament Bag, a 3 Disc Bundle from Troy (5 available) , 1 Star Stamped Champion Dominator, 1 KC Glow Roc w/2012 BGO stamp. Just pre-register and you could win one of these. Plus, when you pre-register you save yourself some time the morning of the tourney - no standing in line and more time for warmups. Any Pros who pre-register can get a tourney stamped disc for: Z disc $8 or Pro D Challenger $6
Tourney discs will be here tomorrow: Z Force, Z Nuke SS, Z Surge SS and Pro D Challengers. If you can't play in the tourney but would like one of these discs let me know. Special tourney price: Z discs $12, Pro D Challenger $10.
Troy and helpers are working hard on the course. Per Troy: "We will be getting ready for next Sunday by working on Thursday 3:30 (Before our 5:30 league) and Friday at 4:00PM. Anyone with a chainsaw would really help." Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The weather forcast is for 73 degrees and partly sunny. The Bengals play at 4:15 so we shouldn't miss very much of the game. You can listen to it on 1530 on the way home. If we get 50 or more people to pre-register then I will throw in a 180 Stingray that I got from the Hazy Shade tourney (I won it in the CTP). It has the temp course from Belmont on it and looks very nice. I will include it in the raffle with all the other cool stuff that Dan is supplying. REGISTER TODAY.

Alman went out tonight and put OB lines down as well as a circle around the practice basket. We will be doing some weed eating on Thursday before our league. I talked to Gary Bebee tonight and he is going to try to make it out tomorrow and cut the fallen trees up so that we can move them out of the way.

Gary Beebe (Got it right this time Gary) cut up the trees on the hill for us on Thursday and then proceeded to win second with Turbo Tim in the league tourney. Lance Fair and I completed the weed eating on the course and it is now ready. Thanks again to Alman for putting the OB lines down. The course is looking good (Considering all the rain recently) and the weather is looking excellent for Sunday.

I want to thank everyone who showed up today and I hope that you all had a good time. Dan did an excellent job as always and gave away a lot of great things. Dan has a passion that all tourney directors should have. The thing that I will fix by the next tourney at Burg will be the signs at the tee pads. I hope to get funds to upgrade the baskets in the future also.

Thanks to everybody who came out yesterday for the Innaugural Battle of the Burg - great day for disc golf and the course was looking great. Thanks to Troy, Gary Beebe, Alman and others who helped to get the course ready for play. Great job by Troy and Jeremy for assisting with TD duties - couldn't have done it without you.
Scores are up!
