I have not been there yet this year but there is little to no elevation change. They have chosen to utilize OB to make things more challenging and that works pretty well. Pretty much every hole had wild flower rough that made it mandatory to stay on the fairway. My problem is that on some holes I could barely see the top of the basket to help me judge the distance I needed to throw to reach the island green. I would definitely suggest a visit as it would make a great addition to playing say Mt Airy, one hard course and then an easier course.

I plan to hit it again this year but I don't consider it a must play.

Have fun!

Many of the shots are wide open, and as Kmaupin said, the rough and woods can be played as out of bounds. It's usually windy or at least breezy there. Reliable discs like a predator and a roc are highly reccomended. I played a game at spring leauge there a month back with an XL and coudn't get it to hyzer toward the pin for anything. The rough is rough. Watch out for stinging nettles on the back nine.  I was smacking the crap out of my legs with my disc to try and numb the intense itching they cause. Long pants recommended too.

Let me get this right, you want the disc you lost returned to your house?

Maybe you could tell us your number who the person who found it could call and arrange for you to come pick it up at their house.

If this response displeased you, see sig.

What is this nonsense? You want someone who found YOUR disc to bring it to YOUR house for you after finding it?

You suuuuuuure do expect alot out of people.  Don't be surprised if they want some money for their efforts! laugh

Yesterday I played Heritage for the first time this year. I was shocked to see how mowed and cleared the course is. Hole 18 is good example of where that large grassy area to the left of the tee is all mowed flat. It made some of the front 9 holes just simple open shots. I know that it will all grow up soon enough, but it was pretty shocking to see. There were several parts of that course that were very easy to lose a disc in, but at least for now are gone.

If my memory is correct they do this every year.

So the course map says the ratings for this course are pro < 49(I think it means 45), adv. 45-54, novice >54. Is that including the OB rules? I know the course has very high rated pars, just didn't know if excluding any OB rules and still paring every whole is only at novice level.

One of the recent storms has caused damage. A large branch fell on #16's basket, destroying it.

#16's basket has been replaced. Currently a new basket is straddled by two large downed tres. More than playable. Actually makes it easier to run at the basket with a makeshift "backstop".

Not as of Thursday October 4th. They were mowing the fairways, no sign of cutting rough.

Not a huge deal but a large branch appears to be a victim of today's strong winds. Broke off and is partially hanging blocking most of the tee shot on #17. You can still get around a little with a big hyzer (rhbh), but that makes it very tough to get anywhere close to basket.
