Played Banklick today for the second time since I broke my ankle 6 weeks ago. I was surprised they cut all the trees down around Hole 22's pond. It looks as though they are going to put in a lot of rip rap and gravel and maybe French Drain that low area to keep it constantly dry. I lost a Predator on Hole 19 throwing a forehand roller. To the right of the fairway about 40 short of the hole and gave up after a few minutes. Had a great time and met some nice people....it's good to be back.

Who is in charge of moving baskets to different locations at Banklick?
I don't think the pins have been moved at all this year. I'd love a chance to play the alternate pins for #'s 1, 10, and 13. I know some other holes out there have alternate pins but I've never seen them moved, ever.

I to would love to see the baskets changed, instead of 1 move 9's into that spot. I will do the work if any one has the key. I know i was told 10 has been rusted into the spot its in. I heard Eades used to have the key if so then posting here will do no good, he is not a internet guy.

Now that you mention it, I've never had the chance to play #9 in the other position. Just some variety in general would be a nice change of pace.
I'd also be more than happy to help move baskets.

Some of the baskets have been moved. 1 is in the long position. 10 is in the short. 11 is in the long, up next to the road, I have never seen it there. 13 is in the alternate spot down in the right corner. Thanks to InnocentCrook and Trauger from the parks department for getting things changed up a little. All of the sleeves are now covered so hopefully they stay clean. They all have new locks and are keyed the same, so hopefully things can get moved around a little more often.

If you weren't there to help we might still be searching for #1's alt. sleeve.

Ya that sucker was buried pretty good. Still think ya need to talk to someone about production of the sleeve cleaning tool.

I heard somewhere that #6's basket is gone. Is there any truth to that?

Kenton County Parks got a replacement basket in for the stolen hole 6 basket today. Kudos to Steve Trauger and the Kenton County Parks Department. Here's a note from Steve:
We had a spare so were able to get a replacement basket in at Lincoln Ridge today. PLEASE be on the lookout for someone who just recently got a basket and mention the missing basket reported at LR. We would love to get it back. Be on the lookout for anyone messing with the baskets. If you don’t want to confront them, and I would suggest you don’t, just call 911 and ask for a police officer to come to Lincoln Ridge Park. Tell them what’s going on and hopefully, they can get there to handle the situation. You are our eyes and ears. We can’t be everywhere all the time. Thanks - Steve

Thanks Steve (& Dan for sharing the word). The basket is much appreciated: was out there today, and everybody out there sounds like we're willing to go vigilante on basket thieves (scum of the earth). I can't believe anyone would think it's OK to deface one of the Queen City's Jewels!

I need a favor please. I was recently contacted by someone that needs a nice photo of hole 9`s sign. Maybe take a few of just the sign and some with a view of the tee and fairway.
"A few years ago I sponsored hole 9 at Lincoln Ridge (back when it was still Banklick). My sponsorship was a dedication to my disc golf buddy's dad, who had passed a few years prior. I am going to be the best man in that disc golf buddy's wedding in a couple of weeks, and I intend to use a picture of that sign at the wedding but I have misplaced my photo of the sign."
Please help me help him and send any images to adamj27655@gmail.com
thanks.
