If 4 or more players, yes. Otherwise its Masters or Open. Same goes for Advanced Masters.
I have been hearing a need for it from players but most are not always at the same events.

Good luck everyone, Looking forward to getting this season started.

There was a tie for 6th place in Rec with Gary Beebe and Eric Brunner that would be 6th and 7th place combined. Brian Hughes and Brock Skinner tied for 8th place that would combine 8th and 9th place everything there is correct.

Sorry, I made an adding error on the board cards. I did not notice my error until I was posting the results on the web site. The web is correct. Andrew has a voucher from a previous event that he has not picked up, and I am adding the amount owed to him on that voucher. As to the vouchers given out, they will be staying the same, no decreases. Again, sorry for the mix-up.

I just recieved word that a lost kitten may have been found at Harbin Park at our CCS event this past saturday, here is the info and let`s do what we can to get him back home.

Kippy is a 7 month old grey kitten with a white spot on his chest. He is neutered and micro chipped and very friendly. He is a 9 year old little girls baby and she is very distraught that he is missing. Our house backs up to Harbin Park and Kippy was sighted numerous times at last weekends Frisbee golf tournament in Harbin Park. One person informed me that he over heard someone else talk about taking him home since Kippy was running up to people wanting to be petted. If you know who took Kippy home we are offering a reward for any help getting him back home. He is badly missed. Please call Mara at 668-8269.   Thank you for your help, Mara Murphy

Course Chalenge Series Awards that have not been received are with our vendor and memberships manager Tony Vincent, these can be picked up at any CCS event, club meeting, or contact Tony to arrange other methods please. His email -  avincent_2105@fuse.net
Here is the list of what we still have:

2010
Jeff Vandemark -2nd
Drew Miller (LH) - 3rd
Alex Hollingshead -2nd
Karen Farrell - 2nd
2011
Jeff Vandemark - 2nd
Liz Shooner - 2nd
Karen Farrell - 3rd
Leonia McAfee - 3rd
2012
Brandon Van -3rd
Hanna Webb - 2nd
Rebecca Frazer - 3rd
Drew Zeigler - 1st
Dave Collins - 2nd
Mike Kemner - 3rd

We have been discussing how our CCS is structured and would like your input on the following.
A) Ties for division leaders. This happens on occasion and this past year we had 3 ties, one of them for 1st place. We are thinking of adding the following rules for the series.
1- Must play in atleast 4 CCS events to qualify for the divisonal awards. rational for competeing in a series.
2- Tied players will then be looked at by head to head results, those events in which both players attended the same course challenge.
3- If these two can not eleviate the tie then we look at who had the most best finishes.

B) Considering this for small divisions or turnouts. If only 3 players compete for the year then we just award 1st place, if only 4-5 then 1st and 2nd, anything 6 or more we award 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Thoughts???

Sounds like a plan. Awards should be earned for play not just participation.

Yup, it looks like a very rainy week so any course will be fairly wet this coming weekend. Sounds like a S hook is either missing or was open enough to allow the chain to come free or the lower rings have separated, simple fix, if anyone has not repaired it by Sunday we can that morning prior to the start.

Side note, anyone not playing anywhere on Saturday the GCFDA is helping out with Goshen Parks annual Clean-up Day at the Kathryn Stagge-Marr park where the Osage Grove course is. They are starting at 8am and working all day so if possible please consider coming out to show support for this new park. They have been amazingly grateful of what we have been able to accomplish with the new course and would be great to see us out there in force helping them out. More details to follow soon.

Nope, only CCS that has to be a C-tier is the Mt.Airy one in september, due to the need to show proof of insurance.
