are we playing all 24 holes at idlewild?

I talked to Tony and he said that we will play 2 rounds of the original 18 (1 long and 1 short). Sounds perfect to me.

Yes, Joe that is the appropriate response. It does get better the more you play even if your scores don't.

It looks like Saturday is going to be a hot one. I will be bringing two of those orange coolers. I am asking to see if there would be anyone who would be willing to bring some ice or water.

I feel if we could get 4 small or 2 large bags of ice and ten gallons of water, we should have plenty. If someone would like to bring something, please post here. While extra water can be used later, extra ice will be water.

Any help would be great.

See you at Idlewild.

I will be bringing my portable shelter. The same one that kept us dry at the Queen City Ams. I may be bringing a portable gas grill too.

Weather permitting, I will be setting up a distance competition after the course challenge on Saturday. The city distance champion will be on the line. If you think you can throw far, show up and prove it. ta ta

The current plan is 18 long in the morning (Get it over with), and 18 short in the afternoon.

Next CCS is this Saturday in Goshen at the Osage Grove course. We may still move a few pin locations prior to the event, but will be determined by how the weather is this week. Thanks again to Kurt and his local crew and any others that have helped clean up the course, looking its best for this weekend. Andrew, Gary and a few others will be out there this week continuing to work on the course, feel free to give them a hand if ya see them.

I just added a few albums to the Gallery page of some of our past events(Scouts,Turtlecreek,AJ Icebowl,Osage Grove) and resorted so that the newest are now at the top, check them out and let me know if you would like any full size images.

Great time at Osage Grove CCS. Thanks Adam, Drew, Gary, Goshen Park Board, Kurt, Tony, and everyone else involved in making this such a great and challenging course. FYI, a percentage of your purchases at www.GoshenDiscGolf.com help support the course. I think I'll rest a while now zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
