well in theory this should have a decent turn out for a non sanctioned event, its pretty much the only tourney in the area other than the pro worlds

My buddy doug is running this. He has been working on it all year, has custom stamped discs and everything. Show up so we can do this every year. Bbq pork sliders and hand cut Saratoga chips at the after party ^-^

As this is not a PDGA event I think some people will want to know what the payout structure will be? It is not listed.

Regular 18 hole layout?

he handed out a flyer during the QC ams on it, it says they will be using the 24 hole layout it also says the prizes include stamped pro d buzz and avenger ss merchandise provided by sweet tees

Nothing else in the area and cheap buy ins people should come out to play. Don't worry guys I won't be playing advanced masters. So one of the other divisions is where I am going. Just good cheap local event everyone come out.

So flying pig or similar layout?  Or completely random new holes?

If the prizes only include a pro d buzz or d avenger ss I doubt any Am's come.  I'm assuming that is actually referring to the players pack.  Hard to say with the way its written.

I ask specifically about the payout because if its not sanctioned the payout is not governed by PDGA rules. So you could essentially be given a trophy for first, a voucher for sweet tee's, a t-shirt,  a hot dog, a rock off the ground....

I think its the pig layout as far as the payouts go I could care less its more about competing and doing well for me at tourneys, rarely do they actually have discs that I want or need anyway i'll worry about payouts when I turn pro haha

also I was thinking about maybe running a side pot for the rec division 5 a man or something like that any thoughts?

The payouts as I understand them is vouchers for sweet tees for ams. It is same as all other tournaments that we all play. Of course it is up to you whether you play or not. However with absolutely nothing else going on other than pro worlds I guess it is this or nothing. Choice is yours. I highly doubt someone runs a tourney with payouts with rocks off the street he wants this to be a yearly thing. Also a dinner included at no charge for player not many tds do that. Not for no charge. So I guess you must win a lot of big tourneys or place very high up the ladder to worry about payouts.

Tee-hee...PDGA doesn't imply good payouts at all.

This will likely be better payout than PDGA because no fees and these guys are cool local Discers. Support your local non-sanctioned event!

One of each custom disc awarded to top x pending on how many in the division. Full color esp buzzzs for ctp and payout in voucher i believe via sweet tees. Any more questions?

Btw I will have some plastic for sale before the tourney at lunch and after tourney. I have around 75 to 100 to choose from. I will be doing a special if you buy 2 you save a buck but if u buy 3 u save a buck per disc and so forth. I have some out of print, production plastic, ce stuff, and old magnets. Everything from vibram to gateway. So come check me out, buy some cool plastic at cheap prices. Also have disc golf extras like minis scorecards ans misc. Things. Also let's get a good turn out. Support your local disc golf. Hope to see all of you guys out there.
