I believe the winners of Intermediate were an 880 something rated player and a 907? rated player. So naturally they are supposed to come down and sign up for advanced?I don't see the logic in thst thought. Advanced and Pro's played long pins. If everyone is salty about this than why make this a PDGA event?

Just played a practice round at Idlewild this morning. You go off fairway on #15, just about kiss that disc good bye. May as well be water lining the fairway.

Brian, I was talking to the parks yesterday and mentioned how the fairway was getting narrower and narrower. For next year I will have them widen it just a bit. In the mean time players will have to play it a bit more conservative. Keep it in the fairway.

Fred, don't know if you know it or not, but a couple of the boards on the bridge to #11 green are broken. Bridge a little wobbly too. Not sure if normal wear and tear or if some idiot did it on purpose.

We were there yesterday there are boards broken in various areas. The remaining boards were bowing as I walked on them the first time so I walked along the beam to get back.

There has been some changes happening to Idlewild over the past week. Can't wait to see them at the tourney.

And what is for lunch at the tourney? Is it supplied again or is it a free for all?

That's cool. Care to elaborate on the details?

Bob, the spotter we had last year isn't available. I don't know anyone else that would do it. If someone's kid would be interested I'm sure the players would pay something so that they could throw with the comfort of knowing they wouldn't lose a disc if they threw hard. I'd bet someone could make a good $50 or $60 bucks.

Ok, I have 4 Elder high school students that are going to spot. 2 on the drives and 2 on the 2nd n 3rd shots. Please feel free to give them some spare change if you happen to throw off the fairway and they mark it for you. They are starting a disc golf club at their school and could use the money.
Fire away!
