For info on the CCS go to the events tab and click the link for it or take this shortcut:   www.cincinnatidiscgolf.com/Events/CourseChallengeSeries.aspx

There is no pre registration for this event, just sign up in the morning.
No GCFDA Non Menber fee, we waive this fee due to added cost to non pdga players.
All Non PDGA members or those that are not current will need to cover a $10 fee.

My question to you  the players and club members, since this is a sactioned event due to our need to have insurance and proof which adds $125 to our event costs. There is a $2 per player PDGA fee we have to cover. Should the Club just eat that cost or should we add the $2 fee (for all C-tiers) to the players entry fee?

We will not be mixing divisions as we normally due the first round, and we have to stick to the PDGA payout structure so Ams are still the same 50% as usual, but Pro payouts will be changed to 40% instead of our usual top 3rd or 33%

Hey Adam, I for one am fine with the extra $2 going into fees. Even with that extra player cost, I think the CCS C-tiers are the lowest entry fees for any pdga sanctioned event I've played in my 2 years...

Spread the cost and let the players pay the fee. I appreciate what the club does for us and would be willing to help in this way.

Players should cover costs. Make the buy in 2 bucks more for payout reasons. Club does plenty to ensure that we all have a great time. And btw thanks for another great pig.

Cover the $2, as the club makes plenty off each event and for the non-PDGA players it will help them out. Ask each player to donate the $2 and cover the rest with club funds- what's in the coffers right now? $8,000+?

Remember the only reason this is PDGA event is because of the insurance requirement. We are very fortunate in Cincinnati to have so many parks that DO NOT require insurance coverage but be aware this is an increasing trend. The club looked into purchasing insurance, but $1400 a year for a handful of events vs. less than $200 a year for the PDGA route is a better use of funds that should be used to promote the sport vs. making financial institutions richer.

We are leaning towards splitting the PDGA $2 per player fee.

Dave McCormack from Gateway sent us two nice CTP packs, 2 discs, stash minis and stickers, will be for the two largest Am divisions.

$2 Ace fund, not included in entry fee, If no one Aces we will have a throw off for 50% and the rest carries over to the next CCS, as usual.

Weather looks great, see you all soon.

HQ is at the shelter by Hole 8`s Tee (area 2).

CCS #8 at AJ Jolly this Saturday.
Since our club vendor Tony will not be able to attend I could use a little extra help.
