I contacted Steve Trauger directly last year because it had been a few years since they had been moved. Myself and a couple friends met him out there and moved them. (Late Sept/Early Oct 2012) When I contacted him about moving them again a few months (Feb of 2013) later he said he wanted to wait longer.

I've been busy with a home remodel, vacations, and a 4.5 month pregnant wife lately and have not tried again.

Whomever does move them next lets try nine in the long a much harder hole that way. I hate one in that spot takes groups forever to play the hole then the backup is even worse, im talking casuals taking longer.

Someone decided it would be a great idea to honor their family member/friend that died by writing all over several teepads with a sharpie marker. Anyone know of a good way to get rid of the sharpie marker? (Acetone or rubbing alcohol?) I will be out Wednesday and will try to take care of this... If you know these people make sure to punch them in the ballsack for us. No better way to honor your lost one than with some good 'ole vandalism...

Monday evening #12's basket was stolen. First, if anyone has any knowledge/information that may help in the apprehension of the person/s responsible, please contact myself or Kenton County Police/Parks. The parks department has now replaced four stolen baskets.

Lincoln Ridge/Banklick is one of the best kept parks in the area and we want to keep it that way. We don't need this kind of stuff.

We have started raising donations to replace the basket/have a backup for situations like this or damage by mowers, storms, etc.

We've got $255 raised right now and the Nati Big 3 will be accepting donations tomorrow, so we will soon have enough to order a new one, which is approximately $360-370

Thanks to all who have donated already and if anyone would like to make a donation, you can do it at the shop or by Paypal to discndat@fuse.net - just make sure you check Paypal Friends and Family so no fees come out and that you note what it is for so I know.

Thanks again and please spread the word for people to be on the lookout for a stolen basket.

For all my disc throwing friends out there. You know Hole No. 8 at Lincoln Ridge, aka Banklick? It's a 220 ft. blind, dog leg to the left. Today I was standing about 15' in front of the hole, spotting for my nephew Roman DeNu. As his throw rounded the bend it was pretty much headed right at me so I took a step back to let it go by. To my surprise it hit the ground just about where I was standing and SKIPPED RIGHT INTO THE BASKET!!!!! Now, I have been playing disc golf for almost 40 years and this is the very first "skip ace" I have ever seen. It was beautiful. Right into the middle of the chains and down into the basket. The only sad part is that Roman didn't see it hit the chains since the hole is blind. At first he thought maybe me or his dad had just hit the chains and shouted out "ACE!!!" as a joke. No joke, sweet shot. Congratulations Roman.

UPDATE: 3/20/17 - From the Parks Dept. - We are working on tree removal at many locations. At Lincoln Ridge, the disc golf course and walking trails are still closed for the next few weeks. I will let you know if we need anything. We appreciate your help.
