Ice Bowl Krazy #3 is coming up this Saturday at AJ Jolly. Get your registrations in. I haven't heard back from the park about opening up the gates so we may have to park outside.

Dan I'm planning on coming down Thursday to sign up. Can you shoot me an email if you happen to close early?

Dan, I suggest we have the Ice Bowl in Hawaii. Just a thought.

I'm going to try and head out early Friday to clean some tee pads at Jolly. If anyone can bring some extra salt on Saturday that would be awesome.

I will bring all my extra discs to AJ Jolly and sell them for $2.00 each with all the proceeds going to Fairhaven. Most of them are like new so help out Fairhaven and help me get them out of the trunk of my car.

Just a reminder to anyone interested in buying discs cheap with all proceeds go to Fairhaven.

Phil shoveled 12/18 then ran out of gas. Ice = suck. Thanks so much Phil. Anybody up for the other 6?

If you plan on coming tomorrow I would pre-register. I'd hate to see you waiting in the cold too.

Great Job on the pads! I cleared the remaining pads. Unfortunately, I could not get a hold of ice melt so was forced to use some sand. So if people would be so kind as to bring salt/ice melt tomorrow the pads will be in excellent shape. I checked all pads but hole 1 (ran out of time). Hole 9-13 could use some salt and hole 17. Also the pine in front of hole 17 has some low/down branches obstructing the lane. Not sure if the park would mine but it could use a little attention prior to the start. Again great job clearing the course!

Yes, thanks so much to Phil Miller and Ben Culshaw for cleaning the pads. That was awesome. 25 hardy souls came out. Really had a lot of fun. Played with my good friends and had a blast. Didn't get to play with Troy though. Matthew Blakely shot 10 and 12 down. Great play on any day! Naturally he won Open. Jeff Eades won Pro GM. Gary Thompson won a throwoff for Adv. Masters. Phil Miller won Advanced. Ben Clark won Rec. Krazy fun with the icw out there today. Thanks to all who came out. Finale is at Lincoln Ridge 2/22 and is a PDGA C-Tier.

Anybody else excited about the long range weather forecast? We could have our Ice Bowl finale in the upper 60's, after six days above freezing. C'mon folks, that should easily triple the prior registrations, but y'all gotta come out for it!
See you at Lincoln Ridge on the 22nd!

The current Registration List is up on the site already.    just click that link and it will take you to it. Right now one Advanced and one Intermediate but it's way early. Most people are getting ready for Lexington and not thinking of next weekend yet and/or people just don't sign up until later, even the day of. Just get yourself signed up and you won't need to worry about it.

FYI - just so everybody knows - even though this is a PDGA sanctioned tournament, you don't have to be a PDGA member and you DON'T have to pay the extra PDGA fee - because this is a charity tournament.

Hopefully the weather warms up this week. The teepads at Lincoln were pretty rough. Half are completely ice underneath. Dave and i both brought shovels that were not equipped to chip ice. I may try and make it out Friday once they thaw a bit with the warmer temperatures. I think the creek holes will be out of the question. If anyone wants to join me pm me here. Looking forward to the final ice bowl and Lincoln.

Thanks so much Phil for all your work on the tee pads this year. You're awesome. Will decide a little later this week about the layout we'll play. More than likely the Winter 20 which is 1-13, skip to 18 -24.

Here's the current registration list for 2014 Ice Bowl Krazy Finale at Lincoln Ridge

Thx bro. I'll probably be out there early in the morning. Around 8am. I'm in training this week that is on PST. I have to be home by 11:30 am. If I don't happen to get to all of them or they don't need to be done, I'll post here.

Hey Dan, I looked in the updated rule book and it states that to play in the Open Grandmasters division in a PDGA event that if a player is not current that they are to receive a stroke for every hole. If this is the case then Jeff Eades will receive 20 extra strokes per round. Before anyone asks, this is found in the fine print in my rule book only.
