Will we get info on this soon? Hazy shade doubles is already taking a large percentage of the field.

working on it, maybe later this week.

Hazy moved the date on us, I know, it sucks. After all the work Erke and I do to make the schedule work out for everyone, they do something like this. just plain disrespectful in my opinion. They did apologize to us though, but what good does that do. Looks like we all have options for that weekend.

I'll be coming from the Peoria, IL area to stay with Doug Wayman and play Intermediate. If you could put us on the same card for the first round, that would be awesome!

Can you qualify for USDGAC if you are not current PDGA? I understand to play the USDGAC next year you will need to be current, wondering if I would need to be current for Pig to qualify.

the site doesn't say either way, which to me says you don't need to be. but i would recommend reaching out to them instead of posting it in here - http://usadgc.com/contact.html

Read all my documentation, does not say you have to be current, or even a PDGA member, to Qualify. I've sent an e-mail to the USADGC TD to validate.

Any idea on when the holes will be added to Harbin for the extra holes? I would like to get a quick round prior to the tourney in with the additional placements.

Thanks,
Doug

They are usually placed the morning of the event and help is often needed. If you can get there early and help place them, then you will have the first chance to get some practice shots in.

Also, here's a link for the map so you can get a rough Idea. Harbin Map Here---https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4417902922630&set=oa.154222044716064&type=1&theater

I saw a total of 20 names of players who have played in the past, not to say they would have played this year, it's probably time to break tradition and make this a one day event, split the fields, one round at each course, easier layout for Ams, and do a Final 9 at Mt. Airy for the pro's all in one day, that's what I'm thinking we should do for next year, that and keep it in August for now on, the tournament was averaging 90 players per an event for it's first 9 years, then it's 10th year was an experiment gone wrong, lowest turnout ever at 51, then it spiked back up to 92 and 84 in 2010 and 2011, 2010 was the Grip Bag promotion and 2011 was another solid turnout. The last two years in the early September slot competed with many other large events in the Midwest and turnout dropped into the 50's again. I think that's also a trend that more and more people are leaning towards 1 day events.

Also, after doing some research, there was a point in time we could have named the event the "Tyler Horne Vs. Matt Blakely Annual Spectacular"

2000-???
2001-Kevin Bessenbach
2002-Tyler Horne
2003-Matt Blakely
2004-Tyler Horne
2005-Matt Blakely
2006-Tyler Horne
2007-Chuck Norris....oh wait, that's actually David Cox
2008-Matt Blakely
2009-Tyler Horne
2010-Will Schusterick
2011-Brad Schick
2012-Jeremiah Kraus
2013-Cyrus Furhman
2014-My money is all on Matt Blakely right now....of course, he's the only pro signed up...must have scared everyone off.....

Myself and Marc Wheeler would be willing to help on Sunday morning to place the temp baskets. What time would we need to be at the course in the morning to help?

You can add me to the list as well. As long as I don't have to be there by 5am, since I'm driving from KY.

2000 FPO was won by Jim Stilgenbauer, who got a 3 on hole 18 at Harbin to beat Steve Wisecup who took a 5 and lost by 1 on the last hole....if I remember correctly.
