Picked up rebar today as well as the timbers. Should have enough to do 90 steps.

Ben, has anybody told you lately that YOU are the MAN!

I'll be there Tuesday to help. Not sure how much good I'll be, but if we can get enough folks, we can really do a number on a course that needs stairs!!

Ben,

What time will you be out there? I can be out there at anytime. I have a sledge hammer I can bring to drive the rebar and also should have at least 2 shovels if not more. Also if I can get a head count for the morning shift, as I will be providing some hamburgers and hotdogs as well as a couple sides.

My wife and I just finished pre - drilling all the timbers so we should be all set. I'll bring some equipment to help install as well. I plan to be there by 9am. My wife will be joining to help at least part of the day.

ok so it appears that we will have Ben and his wife as well as myself and a buddy working in the morning. Jeff will be joining us (am? pm?) and Troy will be there to join us in the evening to finish up. Anyone else on here going to be joining us for either session? Tomorrow. Tuesday July 22nd at 9am and 5pm. Burgers, hotdogs and sides will be provided for those who show up. Please let me know on this thread if you will be joining. If you play at burg and have some free time we encourage you to come out and help.

Thanks Alex, I'll be there at 9 and go until I wimp out on y'all (age and a couch potato lifestyle limits one's endurance), but if we get a good start, at least I'll learn how it's done, and can keep tinkering each time out there!

Went to Burg and everything was done. The steps look so awesome and really help going down and climbing the hill. They also cleaned up holes 7, 8, 16 and 17 which look better than they ever have. Big thanks go to Ben Culshaw and wife, Jeff Armstrong, Brock Skinner and Alex and his buddy. I can't thank these guys enough for their hard work.

We will be working on the course on Saturday (August 2nd) starting at 10:00am. Weed eating, garbage pick up and OB line painting are on the agenda.

I have a tournament on Saturday, but I will try and get over and do some more trimming this week. As always if you need to borrow the big trimmer let me know.

OK, so I made it to the course today with the big trimmer. I hit hole 5,6,7, and 18. 5,6,7 are in really good shape. 18 I cleaned up around the basket and before you get to the island. I ran out of time, but I made a pretty big dent. It should certainly make disc retrieval much easier.

I went to the course last night and I could not believe the work that had been done. It looks so nice and clean. I didn't know who did it but I do now. I am going to promote Ben to Course Pro as of right now. Great job Ben.
