Course is set to Originals for the CCS. Will play 2 rounds of 18, holes A&B are not ready for play.
The Club will cover half of the PDGA player fee of $2, just like before.
All non PDGA members or non-current will have to cover the $10 PDGA non-member fee. But you can use that to get a supporting membership and receive a mini and rulebook and your PDGA number.
Pro payouts will be 40% by PDGA standards instead of the normal Club's top third. Am's are still 50% payout.
Since this is a PDGA Sanctioned C-tier we are also waiving the GCFDA non-member fee as we have before to help keep players costs down.

Another very smoothly run event guys! Thank you! I'm tremendously impressed with pdga results getting up so quickly, and frankly astonished at some of those fantastic scores. Good shootin', fellers!

Using my 'contrary' method of weather forecasting over a six day period, since the meteorologist says 60% chance of rain this coming Sunday (August 3rd), you know it's going to be a beautiful, clear day. Hope everyone is planning to come out to Williamsburg & join us for the August Course Challenge. The place is already in really great shape, with lots of summer trimming just completed, and you can see a preview of those stairs on the 'drop' hole (the 15th hole) on dgcr: http://www.dgcoursereview.com/view_image.php?id=879&p=b4754ffa

Yes, Sunday. For the last few years we have had a few CC's on Sunday, so that some people that could not make Saturdays, can make a few CC's. Seems to be working well.

As far as I know: I'm going to try to help Troy Ison a little; he'll be TD. Likely 2 rounds of all 19 regular holes, but depending on weather and registration numbers, may skip a hole to make it 18, or the other way around, add one. Register by 9 (sharp), player's meeting by 9:15, tee off at 9:30, 1 hr lunch, and hopefully a rapid wrap-up after round two. Tourney central will be at a temp canopy by the flagpole (the shelter is booked). Hope a lot of folks can come out and see the course in the great condition it's in!

Note the registration time of 9:00am because I do keep to the posted times when I run a tourney. Any questions or concerns please call me at 513-608-4189. If we get rain on Saturday then we will probably play only 18 holes (Skip lower #9).

The course has never looked better than it does right now. I want to thank all those who have helped in the last couple of weeks to get this awesome course looking so nice. There are two individuals in particular who have gone above and beyond and they are the new course pro Ben Culshaw and Jeff Armstrong. Without them it would never have been done so quickly and look so nice. See everyone tomorrow morning.

I want to thank everyone who played today at the Burg. With the exception of the tree that fell on hole #8 the course was in excellent condition. I want to thank Jeff Armstrong for all his help today and of course Tony Vincent who sped up the sign ups and payouts. The Burg will be in even better condition for the Battle of the Burg in October.

Great job at the Williamsburg CCS. Troy thank you for all you're hard work organizing, cleaning, setting-up and running things out there. Big shout out to all the volunteers... Alex, Zach, Brenda, Jeff, Brock, and all the others played a big roll into getting this course back in shape. I am looking forward to the Battle of the Burg 3 in Oct.

Gulley CCS will be a sanctioned event, the club will match the $1 pdga fee, $10 Non PDGA member fee will be assessed. In addition, there is a sizable event fee due to the Park district to host the event at Gulley. Thus, each entry for this tournament will be an additional $5. As usual, there will be no preregistration for the event.

This Saturday the 20th is our CCS at Osage Grove in Goshen. Drew is working on the layout but we will see some changes. New long pin for 18 has been installed, and we may test out alternate tees on 7 and 18.
Any other changes we may see this Saturday Drew?

CCS at Goshen this weekend will be revealing the position of alt pads on 7,16, and 18 plus new permanent pins on 4 and 18. First round will be longs, we'll play from the alt tee pads on 7, 16, and to the new permanent long pin on 18. Second round will be short, pins will be in the shorts (including the new pin on 4) except for 18, 18 will play from the alt pad to the new long pin during the second round.
