Like so many married guys its very hard to balance you passion for disc golf and your passion for your spouse.
WHY HAVENT WE MIXED THEM YET IN CINCINNATI??? 
So who would be in? and please answer the following questions
 YES  NO
TRAVEL COURSE TO COURSE???  CHOOSE A STANDARD LOCATION
MONTHLY??? WEEKLY???
WIFE SWAPPING EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE??? (not that kind you freak) 
MONEY??? FAME/GLORY?? 
I know there are other guys out there who if their wives had some one who they could chat, and "JUST TOSS" with they might catch on to the fever.

That's a great idea Ken. You know Alex and I would be up for it. Travel: Yes, Monthly, Swinging could be fun as long as we stay on the same card, Money: Yes. OMG, would we actually see Ben & Liz play together?!?

Uh oh!!!! Can we have mandatory significant other swapping? 
Of course I would be interested in something like that - bringing more women out is one of my passions, but it is a frustration of mine as well, b/c we never get the #'s I hope for! Travel: Yes - Monthly - Yes (during the week would be better). Money - yes - nothing too crazy though.

I don't like the idea that Mike put forth. I think I'll go find a female pro and lie to her and tell her that I'm rich....but my trust fund doesn't mature for a few years...and then I'm set.

I think this is an awesome idea and would help gently ease some of the girls that play into tourney styled play! Like my girlfriend Kara for example... She loves to play and is pretty dang good but wasn't sure about competing. But after she was my partner in the DoD at monroe this year, she feels alot more comfortable and is considering playing the womens' division now! I believe with more mixed doubles (especially paired up with your significant other) that more ladies will start feeling more comfortable thus ending in more ladies competing in disc golf

Monthly probably best (my schedule is weird so who knows if I could make it, Andrea is going to Kent state and comes back so weekends is what might work for us)
She would not be interested in the swapping at this point I think
Money Fame glory either way.

Totally. My wife and I (see post above mine - jshaw) are interested. It would hard for us to go much farther then Monroe/Lebanon/Mason during the week, but we'd make it when we could.

This sounds like a great Idea, but the random draw would be a tough sell to ones girlfriend/wife who is not yet familiar with the disc crowd. As far as I can fathom, it is impossible to have all couples on the same card if partner selection is random(unless there were only 3 or 4 couples, and . Winton or Woodland would be appropriate courses, and also would make it more appealing to the ladies

Ok, it's been a year since Ken's original post on this. I would suggest you go ahead and pick a day/time/location and see who shows up and then see what everybody thinks. It does sound like there's a fair amount of interest. So, get it started and see what happens. I'm sure it will grow if you keep it up. I do think initially you keep it to non-swapping ( I think Topherb is just getting us going with that anyway, or he has his own agenda!) but give it a whirl and have some fun with it. We used to have some mixed doubles leagues many years ago. Bring it back! Just my 2 cents worth.
