Plus I don't see how someone would rather sit at home on a gorgeous day and watch football, instead of going out and playing the sport they love to play themselves! If ya can't tell, I'm not the type to care about football and all that stuff lol

I may have a solution to this riddle of who, what, where, when, why...
If you're going to have something on 9/20 & only post it on this message board I think you'll really limit who will show. I think half the point of this shindig is to encouragenewbies (especially women) to play an organized event. I think waiting a little longer, picking a good date, and promoting it at the courses could bring a really good turnout. November first is theBengals bye week. I pay Mike Brown a lot of money every year & that's why his schedule is important to me. There are many others on this board who are in the same sinking boat.

Medals to the top five teams & closest to the pin challenges on every hole!
One round of 24 holes
Crazy 8's format:
Holes 1-8 - Alternate Shot
Holes 9-16 - Best Shot
Holes 17-24 - Combined Score
Sign up by 12 noon at the shelter at the back of the park. Round to begin shortly thereafter.
ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME!!!
Teams must consist of 1 male & 1 female. You don't have to be married, engaged, dating, or even like each other to team up, so grab a partner & come on out!

If this is a go, I'll make up a flyer & post it here. Everyone should download it & post it at their local course. I'll send it to Dayton & have those guys get involved. Imagine 30 teams showing up for a day of fun & disc golf!
Now this will take a bit of sponsorship to get off the ground. 10 medals will cost me roughly $50 & we'll need enough CTP's to cover 24 holes. I don't doubt for a second that there are people out there willing to pitch in to make it work.

Thanks for being the project director on this one Nick. I can make some goodies, donate some discs, buy stuff for the ladies! yeah! Is there anything else (non-disc golf) planned at Monroe for that day? Anyone know?

Nick, you have once again proved that you are a genius. Great idea with only one flaw, I am going to be out of town that weekend, but I can't expect you to check with me when such a great idea is proposed. Because this appears to be another ESE (Engle Series Event) count me in for a donation if this takes off.

I will check with the park and reserve park shelter, and of course donate disc, $, whatever needed.
I can also buy a meat tray or something like that for a pre round-lunch/picnic
