I happened across this while at work... on a smoke break.. yeah that sounds right. =)
I thought it was well done and just wanted to bring attention to it.

This is a nice interview. What about mentioning Dan and Fred as examples of great T.D.'s though??? Someone did a great job of interpreting Matt - his writing is sometimes not "quite" this eloquent... Overall though, great interview Matt. I still think you should have been Rookie of the Year - we tried! Good luck in the future.

it would have been cool to hear which Pros influenced him the most when he was developing -- Pete? Fred? Brad?
when Matt started beating Pete was when i remember him becoming the real deal...

Well actually Bob now that you say it he copied and pasted from my email's that I sent him. There are many great TD's in and outside our area. Dan and Fred both do good jobs as well as Nick and Brad and crew. Rookie of the year, where is that other guy these days? Pro's that influenced me? Well Local would have been probably Fred and Pete the most. I never played with Jim, or the other guys much really. I didn't ever really play with Brad until I was actually a pro.

He must have been on his best (grammar) behavior - we are not accustomed to this.
Can I get a witness???
We will expect such eloquence in the future...
Good luck at the U.S. Open Matt (and others from the region) if you are going.
