hey guys,
i was just looking at the 09 CC schedule and noticed rapid run park on there...i'd never heard of it, nor seen it on the site's course map. is there actually a course there, or will we be constructing one for the tourney? just curious because i'm always lookin for new places to play. thanks!

It will be a temporary layout for that tournament. We've had tournaments there in years past and this is kind of a throwback to that time. It's really a fun layout and should be fun for all who get to play it. It was used in Course Challenges and Worlds formats. If you go to the Results link above, you can check out some of the scores from 1993-1998.

Definitely looking forward to Rapid Run. My folks had an apartment right around the corner from there when I was a wee lil one, so it was the first playground I ever went to, (yes, the park is that old). And I ran cross country there. I'll definitely bring my basket if needed.
