How do you decide who goes into the recreation division? Is it just based on who signs up? Im very interested in playing but if im just going to get crushed I might as well save the entry fee and use it on replacing the disc im sure to lose playing this course.

That is based on the PDGA Tournament standards. Anyone rated under 900 can play in recreational.
The rest of the division breakdowns by rating can be found on page five of this link:

Small flurry of entries over the weekend for KY State Singles at Idlewild.
There was a small malfunction to the preregistration link via the PDGA event page, which has been repaired and taken care of. So if you or anyone you know might have been trying to preregister via that, I apologize. Thanks to Lee for bringing it to my attention.
Thanks Mike for putting up graphic on the main page.

That Keith Dailey guy is playing! Spotting him on the course is like getting to see Sasquatch. That works on more than one level.

Whats the over and under on how many holes he plays before he DNF's? I say he quits after 18 and just doesn't play the 2nd round at all.

if he is playing well, or winning his card, no way he quits. or if he starts on hole 16, i am thinking he will finish so as not to pass up the opportunity to let one loose on hole 15... so if Kevin or Fred are doing the board and get into the over under wager i think it gets kind of tricky...
I've never seen him DNF a ping pong game so my dollar is on him finishing.

Thanks to all those that are registering, people getting in every day now.
Kind of figured this thread would liven up a bit. Cheap marketing ploy on my behalf, or is it? At least I'm not having to bump the thread. Sasquatch has been spotted lately.

I'm regged. Should have a pair of friends regging today or tomorrow as well. :) Thanks to the crappy scheduling this year I can't make it to Disc 'n Dat this year so this is my Idlewild fix!

Just registered as well. I'm pretty new to disc golf (playing since July 08) and really looking forward to getting my butt kicked by Idlewild.

Nice news here for Kentucky State Singles Championships, Fred confirmed a great sponsorship package from Innova Disc Golf.
AM players pack just got better. As did CTP's and other parlor tricks. Great thanks to all the fine sponsors that are helping us out.
Idlewild is looking nice and green in the springtime, plus it's not that hot out.
Wow, is this thing going to fill? Only 20 spots left!
Here is the updated list.
