The Nati Disc Golf will be having their grand opening on Sunday July 19 from 12 pm to whenever. We will have food from 1 - 3 pm and games throughout the day. Come play the new 9 (18 holes later in the year) hole mini disc golf course, one round of the ace fund($300 in the capped pot), an all day best one round of disc golf at Mt Airy with an Ultrastar for bragging rights and a prize(you can play as many rounds as you want). drawings all day long. Including a drawing for an Innova Sport practice basket. A long drive with a mini contest. Music (DJ and maybe a live band).
I'm working on a beer permit and a freestyle exhibition, I'll keep you posted.

Schedule of events: 11:00 Ace fund, $300.00 in pot. $7.00 Adv/AM, $10.00 pro. 1:00 to 3:00 pm Food will be served(Chicago Style hot dogs and stuff). Also starting at 1:00 we will have a prize drawing every half hour. Live music by Pete Dressmam from 2:00 to 3:30. Music all day as well as corn hole and 18 hole mini disc golf course(course designed by Scott Erke). Mini golf prizes for best score men and women(experienced and not experienced divisions). 3:30 Ultrastar disc golf round, prize for best score, Men and women. Grand prize drawing(Innova basket) at 5:00 pm. Need not be present to win. Drawing is from customers who have purchased something at the nati disc golf.. Hope to see you there.

I just wanted to thank everyone that came out to the grand opening. I hope all enjoyed the hot dogs and atmoshpere. It was a beautiful day. Cyrus won the grand prize, an Innova Discatcher Sport($200.00 value). Congrats Cyrus(I think I saw a tear). David Cox set the Ultra Star record for Mt Airy at 67, and John Finnegan set the mini disc golf course record at 50. Several others won door prizes. The Ace fund is over $600.00.
There were hot dogs left over and I will be grilling them out on Tuesday before the Ace fund. First come first served.

We will be setting up the mini disc golf course both days this weekend. Mini doubles ace fund on Sunday starting at 1:00.

We open at 11 am 7 days a week, weather permitting, and provided we aren't late due to, traffic, sleep, late night binges, other jobs, weather, delivery routes, family duties, hurricane, hunger, global warming, forest fire, locking keys in our car, losing our keys at the late night binge previously talked about, or maybe we just decided to go throw some discs !!!!!!!

Gateway disc sports is sponsoring the Nati Disc Golf customer appreciation celebration this Saturday at Mt Airy. We will have a random draw doubles(A and B players) at 1:00 have lunch after doubles and then have a ring of fire for Gateway and The Nati prizes. Meet at the pro shop.

Are you guys going to get an updated list of lost and found? I know its a pain in the butt, so if not i will just ride up there and see if you have the "THREE" discs im looking for! (Its been a bad start to the year.)
