Played Lovers Lane and Keriakes today for the first time.....both highly enjoyable courses.....some holes are a little too close to one another on Keriakes but it's a fun course, technical for the most part. Realy enjoyed Lovers Lane, good mix of shots, ended up playing that one twice. Heading back up to the Nati on Monday, trying to decide between Charlie Vetners in Louisville or Freeman in E-town...any suggestions?

It depends on what you are in the mood for, really. Vettiner is more technical, wooded, with more elevation. It isn't too tight though, just more technical than Freeman Lake. Freeman Lake is more open with a sort of rolling terrain. Freeman reminded me of something between AJ Jolly and Harbin. The lake, which is beautiful btw, comes into play on a few holes. Both courses are pretty cool, so you won't be sorry either way. This year's KY State Championship is going to be held at Freeman Lake in April.
