Coming in 2010 is an outstanding disc golf course North of Dayton. In order to help raise funds to put it in the ground we will be hosting a fundraising tournament.
Format: Doubles, two rounds of 22 holes.
Divisions: Open, Am, Mixed (need 3 teams for a division)
Where: Tipp City Park, Ohio 45371, entrance on Parkwood Dr.
When: Saturday, October 24th
Per team cost of $30 for Open and $20 for Am and Mixed. This is not a PDGA or DDGA event so there is no extra non-member cost! Only 44 teams will be allowed to register.
Sign ups start at 8am and last until 9am. Players meeting at 9:30am First round starts at 9:45am
Open division will be paid in cash. Am and Mixed divisions will be paid in merchandise. All money raised by this tournament will go towards getting the course in the ground by spring of next year!
This will not only serve as a fundraiser but a preview of the new course. So, why not come out and have some fun on a new course and help us raise money at the same time?

What?? Tipp City is getting a disc golf course??? I have family there and spent many a family reunions there!! Shucks - I have a wedding that day, but I would love to sponsor a hole if that is an option in the future, so please keep me in mind, thanks!

We have been working very hard in getting a course into Tipp City. I presented the idea to the Parks Advisory Board this past Monday and they seemed on board with it. However they wanted to see how the fundraising tournament went first before giving outright approval. I have been working hard with the Dayton Disc Golf guys to make sure this course is well thought out and of high quality.
I haven't considered hole sponsors for the tournament. Although now that I think about it, it would probably be a good idea.

Thanks to you we are now accepting hole sponsors! For $20 you can get your name or your companies name on a hole for the tournament fundraiser. Please send me a PM for my address. We are also looking for hole sponsors for when the course actually gets in the ground too!
