Not real sure what happened to the last thread under this name but I believe there will be 2 extra holes. Old 7 and 8 most likely. The out of bounds and mando's are spelled out on the course map under the mt. airy course page. As far as CTPs go I don't think the club members that are running the CCS frequent the board so I would ask/remind them about the CTPs on the day of the tournament. Please don't spam bomb the place!

I'm sure the club will have CTP's...if not..I personally guarantee that I'll donate some discs for divisional CTPs. The last CCS not having CTPs was just an oversight. With a gazillion things going thru the TD's heads...it's easy to forget things.
On a side note..I wish you guys would learn the correct definition of the term 'SPAM'. While Forum banter may be unwanted, unneeded, undesirable based on another individuals personal preferences..and may be an unnecessary load on the web server for those that don't practice or understand pruning...it is not SPAM. </mini-rant>

While you may be technically correct on SPAM Lee, I think over the years the word has become a term that encompasses situations like this. Thanks for being that guy though.

I'm sure he'll see himself at the Pig. Tim, If you play advanced I might have to join you, I've been contemplating the right time to move up.

Hi folks... I've never competed in a Course Challenge, but plan on attending Saturday's at Mt. Airy. I'm not a GCFDA member, yet, but plan on joining soon. Other than my discs and entry fee, is there anything else I need? How would I determine what class/level I would enter as?

you need to bring your discs, entry fee, water if wanted, I believe there are two fountains on the course and three chances to stop by them, money for lunch, you get a one hour long break between rounds, usually someone grills out if you don't want to go get something,a towel would probably be wise, It's supposed to pour tomorrow so the course will be muddy/wet, and your A game. If you've never played in a course challenge or any tournament for that matter, I would recommend playing novice. It's the lowest division and costs $5. If you have played in other types of tournaments and did well or shoot negative at AIry, Advanced is for you, it's $10. See you Saturday, and welcome to the Cinci disc golf community.

There is no shelter there. We'll meet at The Nati, I believe. Update: New hole 8- shelter, thanks Brad.

Well man I'm gonna start playing advanced in the course challenges for sure but not too sure about at normal tournaments though... My rating isn't near what normal advanced players are. How about yours mr cannon arm? lol

Well Tim, My distance is as good as ever, but it'll be risky ripping full force at Airy, Kills a good round very quickly. hmm... not really sure about the whole rating system, I believe my current one is over 900, but I don't really know anyone elses to know how good it is or not. I don't typically play in the bigger tournaments, I'm more about playing for fun, but five bucks on the weekends is no big deal.
