I am curious to find out what makes disc golfers decide which tournaments they will play in. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

cost of an event, courses played in event, distance from me, TD of event, knowledge of pay years payouts/numbers, size of divisions etc.
I'm from the Chillicothe area originally, lived in Columbus for several years, and now live in NKY. So I play a lot of central ohio events to see my family and friends.

Getting to know other players and the potential of learning by watching other players so I can improve my game and become more competitive.

Learning things from new players, playing new courses, meeting new players/friends, and to see how I man up against others in my division!
Plus I think the more tournaments you play in, the more you learn to focus under pressure which will help your game regardless.
I try to play at all the majors around here and to hit as many as I can far away for all the experiences to be had!
