Anyone that went to this event last year, about how long were the rounds? About what time were both rounds over?

The course is easy and fast. I can't remember exact times from last year, but it should be over quickly.

Holly, I must give you props, you run a heck of a tournament, 97 people and we were still home at an early time - thanks! Congrats to Brad Anderson who continues to dominate the Rec division. And to Finnegan and Al-Man in the Masters Division! And Craig Dyke in Advanced!

Calling out Brad Anderson, you are the bagger of the year for this Tournament! Your Rec score would have taken Intermediate easily. Oh, and you would have tied for first in Advanced. And did I mention, last cash in Open? Give the actual REC guys a chance-MOVE UP! At least do it in C tiers, cmon man!

Actually he would have tied for first in Intermediate as well. We all shot 8 down to win our divisions.

How are these equatable? BTW, Brad it is allowed in the PGA for you to make as much noise as you want-should you do it? You know you have the skill set to play up atleast one Div. esp. in C tier events.

Ban him for life! I say we get to do a public "stoning" with him. Whoever shows up gets to line up and throw two discs at him! From 6 feet away. Awww and im sure Fred will sell you more throws, for a GREAT price! Sorry Brad, but thats the way the law works in these parts of town!

Don't worry, Brad will be moving up after the next ratings update. Keep him in the lower division as far as I'm concerned so I don't have to worry about his game! Great tournament Holly and friends! Fun course.

The parity really is laughable...but it is a free country. Depending on your preference, some players do better when going up against an inferior field-some do better when the skill level of their field is comparable to their own. If you're in the former group-you can't b*&tch when the other players on your card talk alot, play out of turn, or demonstrate any other courtesy/rule infractions...THAT'S WHY THEY'RE REC PLAYERS! On the other hand-one could argue that the pro divisions are too intense and devoid of any fun. The best solution IMO is to move past the 'everyone's a winner' mentality and lose about half these divisions...but I really don't see that happening-seems like they add a new division about evry other year.

Brad is the ultimate in bagging technology! Refer to results from this Dayton event: http://www.daytondiscgolf.org/results/2009/bid8sycgerm.html To be fair, he was playing advanced, but if I remember correctly, he was considering playing rec. Instead of shooting Brad, maybe we should name an award after him for whoever is recognized as the biggest bagger of the year. There's always one or two. Last year, it was Dan H and myself in advanced

wow...good research Cyrus! I think it would be great for there to be a "Brad Anderson Award." I say every year at the end of the year Brad has to shave his beard and give it to the winner. It would give me something to short for since I myself can not grow a beard!
Craig should still be in the running for biggest bagger! His recent move up doesn't negate his previous sins...

EXMONEY@HARBIN wrote:The only thing i notice on that results sheet cyrus, is Jeff Madden shooting Horribly. Damn son, did you play with your left hand? You throw farther then anybody out there, and then some.... But it looks like you might have played with you left hand that day! LOl, im j/k Madden... And on a serious note. The only problem Ben with shortening the number of divisions, is your going to actually promote bagging more! And if you take away the 'REC" division your going to push away new comers to the sport. Because (at least around here) if you put all "rec" and intermediate together. The newcomers are going to be playing against the Wootens, andersons, neinebars, bretlands, and Madden. And **** if you walked out to your first tourny ever and got grouped up with Jeff, and watched him throw. Youd be thinking you made a terrible mistake by signing up! But i do agree with you, unfortunatly we like to be called "winners" too! Even if its not against the best competition!
I dont who you are, but dont talk about me dude. i dont play intermediate or rec, i play were my division requires me to play, which is advanced. so ur wrong.
