The 2010 Icebowl Krazy Series has been scheduled. The schedule is:
January 9, 2010 Boone Woods
January 23, 2010 Harbin Park
February 6, 2010 Lincoln Ridge
I'll have more information soon, but this series is a fundraiser event for Fairhaven Rescue Mission in Covington, Ky. Last year we raised $2950 and our goal for this year is $4000. I'll also have event info and registration up and running shortly. The current website is 2010 Icebowl Krazy Series Like I said I don't have lots of info yet, just the schedule.

Never played in the Ice bowl series and was wondering. Do I have to play all 3 daysor can you just play 1? I'm not sure if I can get that many days off. Peace

You can play just one event. They are all individual events, but if you play all three, you could win for the series.

For the last Ice Bowl @ Lincoln Ridge, I would like to throw out another challenge!!! We'll bring the Bengals van - and I want to pack it full with new/used clothing, furniture, appliances, whatever you need to get rid of to help out Fairhaven Rescue Mission!!!! Start your collection, if you can't make it to the Lincoln Ridge Ice Bowl, you can bring it to any of the other two and I'll add it to the pile.

Registration is now up for the Icebowl Krazy Series 2010 - I did this late last night and didn't have a lot of time to proof everything so if you run into any issues or see any problems let me know. You can signup for one, two or all three of the Icebowls, purchase your mulligans, signup for the Ace Fund and make donations to Fairhaven Rescue Mission. You can save $2 if you sign up for all 3 Icebowls at the same time.

Oh and stay tuned....
We will probably be switching the Boone and Harbin Icebowls - Harbin has an event that takes the whole park on 1/23 as we were originally scheduled. Working on the switch now.

Ok, just got the word. Icebowls #1 and #2 have been switched. The first Icebowl of the Icebowl Krazy Series is January 9th at Harbin Park in Fairfield. I'd like to thank both David Whitehouse of Boone County Parks and Ben Strickler of Fairfield Parks for working out the change. If you would please spread the word to as many people as you can. I don't like to change things like this but we didn't have an option and atleast the dates are the same - just the location has changed.
We will have some INNCOLOR Star Markos and SuperColor ESP Buzzz Fundraiser discs for sale along with other Icebowl discs and merchandise next week.

Also, we have an anonymous disc golfer who has stepped up and is donating $1 per player for the Icebowl Krazy Series to be donated to Fairhaven Rescue Mission. Anyone else out there want to step up? A BIG THANKS goes out to Mr. Anonymous.

I highly recommend signing up online...the reason being is... Dan can fill out board cards and such in the warmth and comfort of his shop instead of in the cold...his numb fingers can just check you off and we can have a very speedy check-in....also....if for some reason we go over x amount of players...whether x=90 or what...he can plan ahead and have more baskets on hand. If you don't have an online method of payment...drop by his shop this week...pay for your entry fee and grab some winter plastic while you're there.
Don't forget to buy your mulligans...the money goes to the charity and you will be at an extremely competitive disadvantage if you do not buy your mulligans...you are basically giving up 3 shots per round. If you honestly can't afford mulligans...bring some donations and I can probably help you out...if you honestly can't afford the $3/round. Mulligans are fun...they help relieve the stress of doinking that 10 foot put off the bottom cage...they keep you from cussing when you turn that drive over into the icky stuff....no whinning...just take your mulligan and do it again.
I can't wait to have me some fun!
