I'm hopefully traveling to the Cincinnatti area during the Thanksgiving weekend and was curious to know what courses I should play.
I discovered Idlewild a year ago and have been dying to play it ever since
lincoln ridge in Independence looks awesome
Mt Airy looks like a must
What else am i missing?

Those are the big three so hit them for sure. We have alot of other good courses Harbin, Gulley, and AJ Jolly. If you can hit the big three then i would just play the other ones that are close to where you staying.

What about that "Boone" course next to Idlewild. Is that worth the time?

Boone is a good course not a challenge but major fun factor and ace runs.

Where does Airy rank vs. Banklick/Lincoln Ridge? And where does Banklick/Lincoln Ridge rank vs. Idlewild? Looking at the course map of Idlewild, everything is a dogleg right. I've been playing for 2 weeks and everything goes left. I'd have to figure out how to throw left handed to play Idlewild.

Idle is hard but sometimes airy plays just as hard! bank is a long 24 hole course and is very fun to play! i would rank it Idle bank then airy! You would have more fun and less stress at banklick !
