Just wondering...this year can we have two divisions?...just 'Those who can putt' and 'Those who cant putt'? Or max 3 divisions...with the third being 'Those who cant reach #4 & #12 on their drives and still cant putt'.

It's a tradition - Winton Woods. We're finalizing time, etc. right now. Usually signup by 10:30, tee at 11. 2 rounds - get out early. It's a really good way to bring in the New Year. We'll post more shortly.

Come on out and play the GCFDA's annual New Year's Day Tourney Friday, January 1, 2010, at Winton Woods. This is a great tradition, so come be a part of the fun!
We will be teeing off at 11:00 am, sign - ups will begin at 9:30 am and end at 10:30 am, we will have a brief meeting, play 2 rounds with a break for lunch in between and be home in time to see UC whip the snot out of Tim Tebow!!
Divisions will be the same as our Course Challenge Series:
Pro Men - $20
All Other Pro Divisions - $10 (Women, Master/Grandmaster/Older than Dirt combined)
All Advanced - $10
Novice - $5
**There will not be a fee if you are not a club member**
Bring some wood for the fire, some money for a 2010 Hamilton County Park Pass and leave the hangover at home! Hope to see you there!

I chop down some wood every morning. That's why my lattes taste so good.

I'm sure someone already knows, but there were a few trees chopped down on hole 12 and 14, split into small logs for firewood.

It should be. We tend to be done right when it's getting dark outside.

Wasn't the Rose Bowl canceled for lack of interest?

Good choice: avoid the obvious baiting by a lonesome Michigan fan.

Anyone who has played there this summer will notice that the lower cage on basket #6 has been replaced and appears quite shiny and new. Previously, a random branch would be there to catch your disc if you were lucky. Big ups to Hamilton County Parks on this and any other repairs gone un-noticed. Hope you guys have fun, I'll be skiing in MI but I'm still seeing baskets everywhere

ya, you know this year's orange bowl was eerily similar to the Nat'l Champ game in '06, when florida stomped whoever they played 45-14...playing Oregon isn't exactly the same thing as playing florida.
