Yes we know, if we did it the following weekend, there would also be a tourney. We debated and it was decided that fewer people would miss this week than the other.

Layout for the Harbin CCS will be 18 hole layout; adding A,B,C,D from the Pig and excluding 14,15,16,17. Hopefully we'll have great weather and a good turnout.

If you have not renewed you membership for this year, remember, it expires after this month. You can renew online or you can renew at Harbin. I will have membership forms there, or you can fill one out and bring it, to speed things up. You can find the form by going to the ABOUT US tab and then to Join.

Bump...Bump! We have 9 cubic yards of wood chip mulch being delivered to Harbin tomorrow late in the afternoon, someetime between 5-6P.M.I've got 4 wheel barrows, big scoops, snow shovels, and pitch forks for 4 but need people to use them and would really appreciate volunteers. The goal is to mulch around the baskets and at the end of the teepads to cut down on the mud factor. If you can bring your own wheel barrow and tools please do so, this way those who cannot bring their own can use the extras I've got. If you can volunteer, please call or text me so I can plan accordingly and thanks in advance for all of you willing to help out-Drew 513-602-0637

Is there going to be an extra fee this year at course challenges for not being a member of the GCFDA? Is so, how much? I remember a while ago it was two dollars but I want to make sure I have enough to play tomorrow. Thanks

I have talked to some parks people at Jolly and they wanted to let it be known that parking in the grass is NOT permitted, at any time at the park. I know most of the people last year were parked in the grass. Also any one know who the td is this weekend I signed up at the club meeting and was told I would get paired up with a exp td to show me the ropes. Just wanna know what time to get there and what all is needed of me. When I talked to the parks guy they expressed some concern about them not knowing about the tourny til this week so maybe next year we could give them a little more of a heads up.

Who has the TD Box? Did Allan take it, or does Dave Marlow have it.

I went to AJ Jolly Sunday and had problems with people fishing around holes 2, 3, 4 and 7. I called the park and talked to a guy named Mike. I suggested that they put up signs around the baskets and tee #2 saying that there is no fishing around those areas and he agreed. Hopefully this will stay in effect all the time and not just for the tourney this Saturday.

The fishermen can be an issue at Jolly. Last year a family had wet towels and clothes hanging from #3's basket. Another time there was a family fishing down by #3's basket and 2 of their kids were actually standing on the sides of the basket jumping up and down trying to knock each other off. I yelled at them to get off and would they like to come up with a couple hundred dollars to replace the basket. They got down, but as I came back around to #16, they were at it again, so I stopped in at the station and they sent a ranger over to talk to them. The absolute best one though was when the boys from Deliverence had their chairs, cooler, and a grill spread out on #2 teepad. The look on their faces as we tried to explain disc golf to them was priceless. They gave us a beer and we played on through.

MN you must had played # 2 before we seen you. Some nasty sunbather was on # 2 right by the basket. We couldn't even throw to it.

A warning sign, sure. I would not put up a sign saying don't fish, sunbathe, grill. etc, because someone is not always playing. Most people will move if you ask.
