When I walk up to a tee and notice something like this going on... I kinda explain the situation and ask that they move or keep and eye on where my disc is going for their own safety. But if they are rude and uncompliant... I just throw and if it comes close to them that is their fault for ignoring my polite warning. Besides I have just as much right to throw a disc on the disc golf course at a park as anyone else does to play baseball or any other major sport at a public park. I'm not gonna skip a hole just because someone won't move when you kindly explain and ask them to please move for 2 seconds.

Scores are up. Thanks goes to Dave Marlow for entering the scores in my absence.
So how windy was it this year? We were battling 30 mph winds near the lake up at a C-Tier in Delaware, OH the same day.

Depends where you were when the wind was blowing. In the morning I played the front and it was relatively calm. In the afternoon it was more gusty when we started on the open holes. I shot 8 strokes differently, part of that was wind and part of it was my lack of concentration. I've definitely seen it worse at Jolly.

I just got an email from the Kentucky Deaf Disc Golf club and it looks like they have their Bluegrass Cup scheduled on the same day as the Idlewild course challenge. I called Boone County and they have reserved the shelter and are scheduled to play at Idlewild that day. Just thought you would want to know.

I have a voucher for finishing 2nd in rec. at a.j. jolley...and I had to leave as soon as i got it. When and where can I cash this in for a disc? also, I still have a free disc voucher from joinin the club over a year ago-is it still good?

I finished 7th in rec at AJ Jolley. I left right after the challenge. I was told by friends that finished lower than me that they got vouchers for discs. Does mine carry over or is it gone?

At the next CC you will need to find Dave Marlow. He's the club vendor. He tends to hold on to the vouchers that do not get collected. I am not sure how long he holds on to them, but I feel certain he will have last month's.

All vouchers received at GCFDA course challenge tournaments carry over. You don't have to use them the same day you get them.

Just wondering how the construction is at Oxford. Has anyone played the course recently?

Played there last Sunday. All construction is done over by the lodge. Only areas that are being worked on , are some of the bridges. Doesn't effect the holes .

I know there will be quite a few Dayton folks there, but is Oxford an official Dayton/Cincinnati combined event. Seems like the last couple of years it has been.

No, this year it is just a GCFDA event. Dayton is running their own event at Oxford.

Scores are up. Can anyone confirm that Billy Ray Osborne won the playoff with Tony Lampert in Adv Masters?

I've never played in a CCS event and was interested in playing at Lincoln Ridge. Is there early sign up or do you just show up?
