Just started disc dyeing about a week ago after getting hooked on some articles I read from a forum for an Oregonian disc gold club.
I am starting to perfect my technique and will be starting to do this more and more. If you're interested in a custom disc shoot me a pm.
Below is a Buzz I did last night. I will be adding some colors today. I will post more pictures as I get more done.

If it was more centered it would be perfect. I think I have a a better way of applying the design now though.

Some people like the off center stamps and dyes. They look cool in flight.

That's a sweet dye job, one of the cleanest I've seen. There are some good how- to vids on youtube , i've tried a few times with less than stellar results.

Thanks.
Yeah there is also a good forum on the Northwest Disc golf Club site. They have some real artists up there. I am really just getting started.

Added the color to the Buzz Dye I did. If I had thought about it longer I probably would have added more colors.

You should put that on Ebay... some GeorgiaTech DG'er would probably pick that up quickly.

Yep. I have a plotter I picked up on ebay. I've cut some by hand, but I wanted to really do more intricate stuff that wouldn't take me 3 days to cut. This way I can design it, cut it and save the template for another disc.

I also agree, great mouse. The MX 518 is one of the best mice ever made. I got one at work and then a G5 and a 518 at home...
So how does your plotter work?

Basically like a printer with a small knife. I create a graphic and convert it to vector so it's smooth. Then cut the vinyl for the mask.

Phil, Are you using Rit dye on the discs? I'm just wondering. I've got one dyed disc by a so-called "pro" and the colors on it aren't even close to what you've shown. The disc is pretty washed out and flat looking where as your discs are just awesome looking. Thanks, John

John I just use plain old RIT dye. All dye's fade over time, especially due to moisture and sun bleaching. The big hing with keeping the colors sharp and the lines crisp is masking and heat. Heat for the dye and masking for the image. I have a couple I'm working on now that are gonna probably go up for sale. I am getting ready to dip a sweet Star Ontario Roc. I'll post em as soon as they've been dipped. I've also been working on some custom decals here's a couple below.

After looking at the geometric green nuke, you must have had a lot of time. That does not look like a lot of fun to weed. I have done worse, but I was not happy.
