I've got the Updated Registration List - not many to update yet. Get those entries in if you can. It will definitely help on Saturday with a new course, temp baskets and all. There is enough to do setting up the course, etc. with baskets, so please help out and pre-register if you can. It's going to be some nice weather and you know you're itching to get out and throw.

Maybe the snow will be gone by then. Was out at Lincoln Ridge today and there is still lots of the white stuff out there.

We still have some snow; I'd say about 35% coverage that isn't very deep. I haven’t walked the entire course yet, but what I have isn’t sloppy, just soft. Hopefully is will have enough time so it won’t get that way. With our topography most of the course has pretty good run off.

Thanks Dan
Update
I now have 20 baskets locked up at the church would still like to gather 4 more so we could do a 24 hole if the # of players warrant it. We will begin the setup at 9am on Friday for the player who want to throw some a get a feel for the course. Will be putting the basket away around dark. We will be back at 6am on Saturday to put the baskets back out for the even.

So what amount of the entry is going to the charity?
I know there will be golfers and non golfers alike there.
I am just asking about the payout. I am assuming for the "golfers" it will be cash for open and prizes for am's.
If I missed that on the registration info, sory for that.

Sounds good. I notice there were not any divisions listed. Are you guys breaking down into them?
What is the course layout going to be like?
I am probably coming, just wanted to be sure about the divisions.
Thanks
It's on Mike

I'm not sue about divisions but, I have seen the course. It is a cool layout. We are playing on a slightly more wooded Belmont like course with good elevation a pond and lots of OB. Six or so holes are mostly wide open.
I'm fairly certain that this is mostly a charity event. A great opportunity for the Disc Community to help an organization that will be able to help us in the future with a permanent course in the I-75/I-275 corridor on their land.

Sean the reason for putting on this even is souly to raise fund for the church. #1 is to purchase real roman armor for our easter drama, and #2 is to help fund the instalation of a perm course. The reason we would like to install a course is we offer our gym in through out the year to several organization that deal with inner city kids. We would like to start a mini weekend camp for those organizations and to groups of smaller churches the use of our property. We use basketball and would love to add disc golf to mix to give a potinal outlet to kids and hopefully it will change their lives and keep them out of trouble. We do want the public to use it as well.
