For those on the East side, there's an Ace Fund Doubles event starting today, on Tuesdays at the Williamsburg course. Tonight it starts at 5:45, time will probably go to 6:00 in the upcoming weeks. Cost is $5 for the nightly payout and $2 for the Ace Fund. I believe Troy Ison is running it.

just an idea but we could move tuesday night doubles to thurs night doubles so that we dont infringe on tuesday night singles and get a larger turnout for both. just an idea. i can only get off for tues so it really doesnt matter for me but then more teams would be payed out. Good luck in whatever your playing in, and see u on the course.

If you are concerned about overlapping items, don't be.
On Mondays there will be doubles at Boone. Tuesdays have the Ace Fund at Airy. Wednesdays bring us doubles at Lincoln Ridge & Monroe, plus leagues meet on Wed. Thursday has the bag tags at Airy. Fridays had doubles at Harbin, may have them again this year.
The biggest thing is not overlap, it is how close the two courses are. Williamsburg could have it's event on just about any day. So relax and enjoy.

I forgot to post this earlier but Troy says he will need someone to run this from here on out as he got a 2nd shift job. Any takers out there? There should be some regulars that could pick this up.

Troy's back to running this. For those on the east side, this is a good place to go on Tuesdays.
Troy, let me know if you're able to get on here now. Mike, the webmaster said he's e-mailed you about it.

We had 18 players this week so the payout was 50, 30 and 10. Jeff Eades made a special guest appearance and hit an ace on 11 for $24.00. We had another tie this week for 1st with two 17's. Jeff carried me to a CTP win over Brandon Vans team. Shaun Fair and LH Drew Miller came in 3rd with a 16.

We had 15 show up last night with LH Drew Miller and his partner Bill (I forgot his last name but he is good) shooting a record 19 to win $50.00. Brandon Van and Spencer Nunnley shot 17 to get 2nd and $25.00. I hit an ace on #5 to win $26.00 so the ace fund is still at 0.

We had 14 players yesterday with Turbo Tim and Bill (I still don't know his last name, can someone from last night help me) shooting a 16 to win $40.00. Shaun and Lance Fair took 2nd with a 15 and won $20.00. Jeremy Ison hit an ace on 13 (The hole with the tree named Carl) to win $24.00. I talked to Donavan and we are going to try to set up a tourney in July to make some money to put tee pads on the holes that don't have any. We will have to go through the Williamsburgh council to get permission before setting a date for the tourney.

It may be Bill Knyghton - I don't really know how to spell his name.
